I really like the amount of grams you get for each set of yarn. I'm so excited to get started with them!

Shipping should be fine, just may be risky.

So sad I didn't read the review in trustpilot before I pay money.Ordered, money paid on 17-Sep-2023, 22-Sep-2023 got email say order is on the way, what I think : ok. within 2 weeks should be able to get item. Now, 7-Oct-2023, I didn't receive it at all. then I try to track the "item" with the link that they provided to me.Update:9-Oct, items arrived. just I got no idea for the "shipping", just suddenly got an email from Evri say parcel will be delivered.Items should be good quality. The shipping info should be updated.

I ordered 78 euros worth of yarn to my country, excluding the delivery of 23e and customs fee of 20e. Well, my package was switched with a woman from Canada's and I received the wrong goods. After weeks of trying to contact customer service, with very long detailed emails including images, they got back to me and only refunded me the cost of the yarn and not the delivery or customs fee. Even the delivery would have been reasonable as this is an error on their end. Anyway, I am out 43 euros with a lot of yarn that is nice but I don't have any use for, and in order to complete my project I'll have to continue ordering from a 3rd party seller because Lion Brand are not trustworthy to buy from directly, though I thought buying in bulk from them would somehow save me money in the long run clearly I was mistaken

I sent items back for a refund

I sent items back for a refund. It has been 6 months since this happened, they have never once replied to any of my emails or even acknowledged that it was returned. They delete me asking for help on their instagram page. If they aren't the most insulting company I've ever purchased from, I don't know who is. They clearly have zero issues with treating people like trash.

The yarn is beautiful

The yarn is beautiful, easy to knit with and the colours are stunning - I am hooked on Elm. I have already knitted 3 garments and a hat with it and am ready for more. It is pilling just a tiny bit and I have not experienced any splitting of the yarn while knitting with it. However, the yarn seems to very easily snag on zippers, jewelry etc.

Lion Brand has no customer service

Lion Brand yarn is good yarn, but don’t buy directly from their website. They sent 2 different dye lots for my yarn, and as other reviews there is absolutely NO customer service. Glad I only was making a baby blanket and didn’t need much yarn….btw I got 2 replacement balls of yarn from Amazon and they got the dye lot correct for both.

I really like Lion Brand yarn however

I really like Lion Brand yarn however, their shipping timeframes and lack of Customer Service is really doing this company a disservice. This is the last time I will ever order directly from them again. I placed my order on 5/28/23. On 6/2 got a generated email that due to many orders mine will be delayed. I heard nothing more so on 6/11 I opened a ticket with them requesting status. As of today 6/19...I have had no response. You also cannot call them. Every phone number I gathered from Google states it's no longer in service. This is a terrible way to run a business.

Misleading colors on website + Customer service is no help

I ordered a crochet kit that came with 7 skeins of one color and the color advertised on their website was not at all like the color I received and when I contacted their customer service all they told me was that I could return it for a refund - except I had to pay for shipping myself which was ridiculous! I simply wanted to exchange the yarn for a different color and their response was that their system can't handle exchanges - it's 2023 that's such a ridiculous response. I was super excited to crochet a blanket this summer and am really disappointed that the company expects me to shell out almost $30 in shipping to get something that actually matches their product description.

3 stars as the 24/7 cotton yarn is really good, unfortunately I won’t be ordering again as they use FedEx delivery and they are dreadful. Both times now I have had to wait at home for an order then it didn’t turn up when it was supposed to, first time the driver went straight next door, never even called at my house and never left a card. The second time, yesterday I waited in all day again, it never turned up until today and then it was late. The email responses from customer service are completely random, inaccurate, and do not address any of the issues you raise .

Useless

Useless, avoid! My order was apparently dispatched 4 weeks ago but tracking shows that it hasn't yet been received by the carrier. E-mails and Messenger contact is being ignored so have passed to Mastercard.
