Dangerous Incompetence

I saw Mark Durfee for a skin rash covering 1/3 of my face. I'd been to an urgent care, treating it with a topical fungal cream for 7 days, but it was getting worse, so was now on an oral and topical antibacterial. Durfee told me to scrub the scabs off my face and after my objection sighting the healing skin underneath he reasoned it is "just dead skin" then proscribed me a topical and oral steroid. On a gut feeling I didn't follow any of his advice. After seeing a dermatologist at Beth Isreal Hospital they confirmed peeling the scabs would have exposed the healing skin and put me at risk for further infection and taking the steroids would have lowered my immunity and made it easier for the rash to grow. What's scarier is I went to leave this review on his account to warn future patients because he could have made me significantly sicker and there is no option to leave a review. How do all the doctors have 5 stars if I can't leave a review anywhere?

Proceed With Caution

It was great in terms of getting a prescription, but if the doctor orders a lab and is the only one responsible for getting results to you, DON'T do it. You won't be able to contact the doctor, and customer service will tell you they can't do anything other than recommend scheduling ANOTHER appointment to TRY to get YOUR results. Me and my entire office are prevented from returning to work until labs results are in, and the lab confirmed that the results have been faxed to the doctor. Crock of crap.

I had a great experience with…

I had a great experience with livehealth. I was seen right away, no wait time which surprised me with everything going on with Covid. I expected a long wait time so I was pleasantly surprised with being seen right away. The Dr I saw was excellent. She listened to me and was extremely helpful. I would definitely use this service again for minor issues. People need to understand that this is not a service for serious medical concerns and some issues have to be dealt with in person. I would recommend live health to my family and friends.

6 hour waiting time, horrible customer service…

This company is a danger to your health, and what I don't understand is why Blue Cross Blue Shield is sending their members here. Do they care about the well being of their members?

$60 for death

Listening to the online Doctor nearly got me killed. I saw the tiles of his office ceiling, could barely speak and told me to take motrin, 4 or 5 pills if necessary every four hours. Went to the urgent care today and my doctor wanted to know why I wasn't dead. My throat had closed all the way up, I was surviving by breathing through my nasal passages. Paid $60 for the privilege of death. I'll not do that again.

Good idea but poorly executed

0 points for the user interface. Doctors can log off and leave patients waiting. The only way to know that the doctor has logged off is if the number of patients ahead of you doesn't change for 30 minutes. If you accidentally close the waiting room window there's no way to re-open it. The only way to get back in is to call customer service, which can be a 1.5 hour wait during peak times.3 points for the nice doctor who worked late, diagnosed my symptoms and wrote me a prescription.

My boyfriend waited for over 4 hours…

My boyfriend waited for over 4 hours with 1 person in front of him and he waited half that time being the next patient. Finally when it was his turn the doctor logged off. This is ridiculous. He has been trying for a couple days and can’t return to work until he is seen by someone and this is what his job recommended. This needs to be fixed! I understand it is in the midst of Covid-19 but they need to pay more attention to the patients so they don’t have to go out and infect anyone else by going to the hospital.

Horrible service

Horrible service. The doctors log off and they leave you hanging. You can’t reschedule other appointment until you call customer service to cancel the one you already have, which takes 45mnts to 1 hour. I’ve spent 10 hours of my day trying to talk to a doctor and I still haven’t been able to. It’s very sad that this is the service my company offers, I would not recommend this to anyone.

6 hours, the system keeps disconnecting you and you need to log back in. What a racket. Just an update from last year. After 8 hours waiting for a doc, the doc said to go to ER ASAPMy family member could have died while waiting for your system to work
