I tried to be seen online for a sinus infection. I was number 22 in line and ended up waiting 2 hours. When it was my turn, the provider Dr. Aaron Perreault logged out. Anthem should be ashamed of themselves for offering this service. My insurance better not be charged.
Would give a lower rating if I could. Have tried to use this on 3 separate occasions and failed to reach the doctor all 3 times. 3/13/20 - Waited for close to an hour and enabled the text me option only to realize i received no text and the session had ended. Again tried contacting Dr Shaun Weaver on 3/16/20 twice - From 5-6 PM - After waiting for more than an hour, i was next in line to see the doctor. I get a message saying the doctor lost his connection and it kicks me out of the line! Had to rejoin with 7 patients in front of meFrom 6-7 PM - Again, waited for an hour, it was my turn and the same doctor ends my session and i am kicked out. Utterly useless service if patients cannot reach out to doctors. There must also be a way to rate the doctors who don't value patients time. Lost a good 2 hours today for nothing.
Total waste of time! I was in the virtual waiting room in the app for 1.5 hours only to be kicked out when it was down to 3 in front of me. When I called customer service, I was told that all apps had to be closed or else you would be kicked out. Would have been nice to know BEFORE waiting 1.5 hour.
LiveHealth online is a complete waste of time! I waited hours “in line”, only to be told my doctor was no longer available just as my turn was up. I waited for 4 different doctors, with same result. So aggravating. I finally registered with MDLIVE, where I had a great virtual doctor visit. Don’t bother with LiveHealth—a useless waste of time....especially when you aren’t feeling well.
I had a poor experience. Spent 3 hours waiting in 2 queues. After the first hour, when I had moved to no. 1 in the wait, I received the message “Dr Stratton has lost connection. The Visit has ended.” A txt message read: “Your visit request has been declined. Please return to your computer to view details.“ There were no details to be found. I logged out, then back in (thinking maybe there was a malfunction) and then put all my info back in the Q&A fields and got in the queue as no. 20 for Dr Whyte. After a nearly 2-hour wait, and having reached no. 6, ditto - dumped again with same “the visit has been ended” message and no details.
DON'T USE THIS HEALTH SERVICE!!!! Beware, they make you wait for hours, then disconnect you. This is the only online doctor my insurance offers and I have had to deal with this every time where after 3 hours of screwing around and being redirected to different doctors, I get disconnected and then have to start over.
I'm going to try to summarize as briefly as possible in a step by step of my experience:-Downloaded app, opened, entered all info, and picked a doctor.-Once you select, asks you a bunch of questions that you should just fill out before selecting a doctor. Went from a 1 person wait to a 3 person wait.-Waited 3 people and had a popup asking for my phone # again. Entered it, stuck just going back to the phone number field. After trying multiple times, I had to close out and start over.-Chose same doctor again (lowest # of people waiting), answered questions again, waited for 4 people ahead, told at the end of the wait that the doctor was no longer seeing patients and it automatically put me in line with another doctor who I didn't select. Waited for another 3 people ahead, told at the end of the wait that the doctor was no longer seeing patients. This is now over an hour of doing all the right things on my end.-Chose a new doctor, 1 person ahead, waited and got into a session. She spoke to me, spoke to my daughter, and was professional. Unfortunately, because she had an ear infection within the last month, she informed me it was their policy that they couldn't prescribe antibiotics and it would have to go through an in-person doctor. While I understand the policy, had I KNOWN it was a policy before I signed up, I would not have proceeded with the session to be told to give my child Tylenol for the fever and a Claritin for the runny nose.I accept in this Coronavirus crazy world, the waits are probably a little longer. I didn't mind the wait. It was the repeated and unnecessary waits. The doctors should be able to say, "please do not accept more patients in the waiting room as I am finishing up." To let people wait for nothing is a waste of my time. I could have gone to the local e clinic and been in and out in half the time. I was avoiding it because I was alone with my two children, one being an infant, and thought I could get done what I needed to get done.Anyway, all of this begs the question; what is the point of this actual service? Aside from Mental Health discussions, I don't really understand why I would use this service again?
I used the service for the first time today and definitely my last. Let me just say that Dr. Fawn Langerman was rude and condescending from the get go. When I tried to salvage the conversation/visit by telling her I was a RN of 26+ years she started laughing and disconnected the session. The sad part is I chose her as I thought I would be better talking to a female about my problem. Wrong! She was very unprofessional.
