Scam sneaky company

The call me and send me Gmail’s and texts. Telling me I owe money. But I don’t. I owe nothing. They try to get me to give them personal details which they have in front of them. They won’t leave me alone. I’ll have to sue them for harassment. If this carries on. And now they’re hassling me on trust pilot. Trying to get me to sign in to their website. I don’t owe any money so fog off

Interesting to see the other feedback…

Interesting to see the other feedback regarding Lowell. I have had my suspicions confirmed.I received a letter claiming I owed Vodafone some money after closing my account with them in 2019. Yes you read that right. Lowell must think I was born yesterday. 2019 and Vodafone haven't made any attempt themselves to contact me regarding this false claim I owe them money. Come on? I have since been to my local Vodafone store and they admitted it was an error on their part claiming for a service I had cancelled. They were great about it and immediately began to correct the error. Even the lady I dealt with said she had had problems with Lowell and hated that Vodafone used them for debt investigations.

Approx 2 yrs ago I got a letter from…

Approx 2 yrs ago I got a letter from Lowell saying I owed them money.I asked the staff member to prove it,they said I had paid by cheque on 4 occasions. But I have never had a cheque book ,so I asked them to send me proof of the cheques, and the ammout of money I owed them.I have never heard from them again. As this company are not legalised debt collectors and cannot force entry nor enforce a debt, advice to others be aware. If I owed this money and they couldnt provide me with me copies of the cheques I asked for ,how legal are they?

Absolute joke

Absolute joke - had my phone stolen in 2013 and a police report written; now say I owe nearly £2000 and put a CCJ on my account in 2019 for an old vodafone account that I complained about so many times. The way these people treat victims of crimes is appalling!

Buying debt should be illegal

Buying debt should be illegal. Before you come in with the "we do our due dilligence" clearly you do not. You are practically a fraud company and i hope someone does a complete investigation and closes you down for good. We are not your "customers" we do not need nor ask for your service. Stop contacting people, close your business and maybe think about the ethics of this line of business before even considering working again

Hopefully leaving this review will put…

Hopefully leaving this review will put me in touch with a customer support agent. I’ve received voicemails/calls from yourselves. I’ve tried logging in to make payments and ensure a plan is setup, but it’s saying your site is down and has shown this everyday for the past week. There is no email address on your site so I have put through a complaint form in the hope that an agent would email me. I won’t be calling your office line as I work long hours, but would appreciate if someone could email me and let me know when your site is working so I can ensure a payment plan is setup. I also need to update my address on your records as I moved house 4 weeks ago and assume that you have been sending letters to my old address. Thanks

Constant letters received for accounts that are not mine!!

Constant letters to my home regarding not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 – 02 accounts that I have never had. I have lived in Sheffield all my life and am male. These letters relate to a person who is female and lives in Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire where I have never been in my life. I have never had these accounts. I finally managed to alert 02 to this issue and the accounts were removed from my name only for them to reappear on my credit file, in default, now under Lowell Group!! Absolutely disgusting behaviour to send me these letters without doing the proper research to understand if the accounts are actually mine. 02 have a lot of questions to answer on this and so do Lowell who are threatening to come to my house to recover the debt. Bad, bad company in my opinion, you need to learn ethics and integrity instead of just hoping people will roll over and pay a debt that is not theirs for a quiet life.
