The process is long and on top of it being long, at the end, the styles are horrible. Also, they try to get you to add more services which cost more money, left a sour taste in my mouth. Lastly, customer service really isn’t much helpful. The help you get benefits the company not the customer. They refund your account, which I don’t plan on using because I didn’t like it which is why I’m asking for a refund, not your bank account. Don’t even waste your time answering the questions to tailor your style because you will loose your money and time. Trust me.
I love Lumi! I just had my first session with Mara and she was absolutely fabulous! She was very patient answered all of my questions and now I i’m waiting patiently to see all of the great look she’s going to curate for me. Lumi isn’t just for the young girls. It’s also for the over 60 crowd who gets to look beautiful and feel good about themselves as well. I can’t wait to see all the great styles she’s going to create for me. It’s a great platform and I’m just loving it.
I love how Lumi selects your colors and body shape to determine you perfect wardrobe. However, every outfit I wanted did not have my size. It is very difficult to find a whole design set that has all parts to fit. Also most choices are very expensive.
I can’t find how to cancel your subscription. Your provided email doesn’t work, as it bounced back as ‘non existent’. In your Terms and conditions it explains to go to ‘Manage membership’ under the profile, but there is no such option. Please advise how do I cancel subscription?
I signed up with Lumi and paid the $19.99 sign-up fee in July, and received only the initial welcome email. After that, I was charged $49.99 in August and another $49.99 in September without receiving a single reminder or follow-up email about upcoming charges. No nudges, no updates, nothing — just silent billing.When I contacted customer service, they cited their refund policy and refused to return my money, claiming my situation fell under “personal or financial reasons.” But this isn’t about personal reasons — this is about lack of transparency and failure to communicate basic billing reminders. Customers should not be charged month after month without any outreach or notice.To make matters worse, Lumi told me the problem might be because their service doesn’t fully work on Android, but this limitation was never disclosed before taking my payment. That means I was paying for a service I could not reasonably access.At this point, Lumi has collected $119.97 from me ($19.99 + two $49.99 charges) without delivering what was promised, without reminder emails, and without transparency. Their refund policy seems designed to protect the company, not the customer.I feel scammed, and I would not recommend Lumi unless they make serious changes:Send proper reminder emails before each billing cycle.Clearly disclose platform limitations at sign-up.Update their refund policy to be fair and consistent for all customers.Lumi, if you are reading this, I expect a full refund.
