Excellent customer service - Mr. Joāo TeixeraActivating eSIM. Process is complicated but Mr. Joāo Teixera was incredibly patient & kind with me as we went thru all the steps, despite my spotty internet connection and the fact I then had 2-step verification on, at the end with a different mobile number so in the end I couldn't pay.However, this is NOT THE FAULT OF LYCA MOBILE, and I APPRECIATE the fact that I COULD TALK TO A REAL PERSON who was very helpful & knew the technical side of things very well and was happy to verify things with his supervisor.Note: I come from Canada & had a terrible experience with KOODO (owned by TELUS) - it's practically impossible to speak to an agent. This seems all the more remarkable to me because Lyca Mobile is a low-cost cell phone provider, has very few physical stores, and I am Pay-As-You-Go with Lyca Mobile - we do not have a contract, but they treated me with the utmost respect & consideration. Stole €120 from me and won't respond to complaints.I bought a €120 'Lyca National M' bundle back in June 2022, which is supposed to provide a sim card and 12 months of data / calls.The SIM arrived, but the bundle wouldn't activate, so I sought a refund. Customer services repeatedly said a refund was on its way, but it never arrived.After a long time, customer service said they can't help any more due to how long ago the order was, and referred me to their complaints department, who don't respond to my emails. So, approaching 2 years ago, I paid €120 for a service that wasn't delivered, and they failed to refund me, which in my view is theft.I'd recommend avoiding, or just do PAYG. Don't trust with paying any significant amount of money up front, and ideally, avoid (though, their prices do look competitive. I hope they're not subsidised by too many stories like mine!).
My mother in law lost her phone, but the main trouble was that she didn't remember right a way the information needed for restoring the number. The call service agent (ID - 30271) was very helpful and patient during the process and i am very grateful for it.
I really grateful to share my experience, am using their service from past four years recently I faced problem regarding network issue.One of support service her name is Shai their I'd or Batch no. 30203 she solved my problem with a few minutes.
