Reliable

This is the most relaiable taxi service , I have find in Manchester .Using their app , Not that you can see who is coming to pick you up but can see his whole profile . I have liked that service a lot . BTW I have booked via webpage and got update how far driver is and how many minute he will take to pick me up from a very unpopular place in south Manchester where taxi service refused or just hanged up my call and it was Sunday afternoon when I contact them . So I will consider them really reliable service so far .

I used Lynx thinking a local taxi firm I’d rather them get the money than Uber.Wow I should have gone with Uber it would have been £15 less. £50 I’ve just paid from heaton mersey to Trafford park and back

Taxi drivers are always praying on young women, I’ve had numerous inappropriate comments made to me by there drivers I never feel safe. Avoid using this company if you are a female.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid!!!! I phoned them and was told I'd wait 10 minutes I waited 20 although I got a call from the driver saying he was another 15 minutes away! As a stranger to the area I ended up walking 4 miles to get my train. Good thing I'm a reasonably big guy who can look after himself. Thanks for nothing and when I rang back some Asian guy tried to make out he couldnt understand me. AVOID!! I would have given no stars if I could. Dont trust these people to get you anywhere......

Abusive Drivers.

I had 20 pound cash and the taxi driver had a go at me for it, because HE had no change. Then I was 9 minutes late getting downstairs to him, as soon as I got in the taxi he was shouting abuse at me baring in mind I’m a 20 year old girl, and it’s 6am in the bleeding morning!! Then to top it all off, a different driver also gave me a bad attitude when it was literally, and I mean literally 2 MINUTES he was waiting!!! The worst, especially during a global pandemic so rude and ignorant, no regard for other people’s lives — just selfish as hell, all money orientated they give no hoots for the passengers whatsoever. Disgusting.

WARNING this company will take your money via the app on a no show

WARNING, STRONG WORD OF ADVICE DO NOT USE YOUR CARD WITH THIS COMPANY VIA THE APP AS THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY WITH NO SHOW, IF YOU MUST USE THEM PLEASE PAY ONLY BY CASH ONLY AS THEY CANT TAKE YOUR MONEY, The taxi I booked was on the app, the driver did not bother to drive to the pickup point, and there is no evidence that the driver turned up at the location at the address posted in the app, but set the meter and activated it to charge when me I was at Tesco East Didsbury because Tesco's has a designated area to pick people up, the pickup points this is for taxi services, Tesco's do not like cars picking people up at the main doors, the driver did not bother to drive to the pickup point and there are penalty charges where the company will take you money run the meter and cancel the job this in my book is steeling taking my money on the card, I did not authorize this payment, he should have been at the designated Pickup Point as your drivers would at Morrison's supermarket, so now it seems it is justified for a taxi company to take your money and not have to pick you up, so instead I had no choice but to walk all the way home in the rain affecting my health as I have a back problem and am limited to how much I can do, I do not believe it is acceptable or professional for a taxi company to behave in this way.I will never use this company again, if you cant trust them with the little jobs how can you trust them with anything else, I will give my money to another taxi company who deserves it.

A dreadful experience

Taxi driver turned up late after going to the wrong address, car smelt of smoke and was dirty. We had to direct him to our home and run down a road to find him. He barely spoke any English. The whole experience was a disgrace and we almost missed our train.

So thankful and proud to say lynx taxis are my local company. They have never let me down in all 10 years i have used them. The call center staff are very friendly and the drivers are professional in full uniform and very helpfull with shopping and luggage.Thanks lynx you are the best
