Been charged £8 for ev car, when lit up signs said £6 which is over priced anyway. Robbed and now I remember why I avoid this road like the plage and will be doing so from now on, I'd rather sit in 10 mins more traffic than pay those prices

RIP OFF M6 TOLL

The prices for this toll is extortionate, i liv in kent and travel through the dartford tunnel on a regular basis, the price for a car is just £2.50! what a bargain compared to the rip off M6 Toll. Drivers that use this for their daily return commute are paying close to £100 per week is insane. I have just returned from a trip to the south of France (Marseille 740 miles) and paid £76 pounds in motorway tolls, M6 TOLL you need to learn lessons from other operators.

48 hours for a receipt - I now avoid the M6toll road if I can

It is unforgivable that it takes them up to 48 hours to make a receipt available online. I went through yesterday afternoon, but as of 10:00am the following morning, there is no receipt available online. This has been my experience since they moved away from paper receipts. Even my limited knowledge of IT tells me they are taking the mickey.I try to get my work expenses logged as soon after I incur costs as possible, otherwise it is easy to forget and be out of pocket, especially when there is no paper receipt to remind you. It is a money-making scam. They are trying to encourage people to open an account. This means you have to lodge a balance with them of at least £30. So, they want to hold peoples' cash as an additional revenue stream. As this is a monopoly, there should be a regulator to prevent this kind of thing.I now avoid the M6toll road out of principle unless I am in a hurry or I can see there is congestion on the alternative routes. You are losing revenue because of this M6toll!

Every time is now such a hassle to get…

Every time is now such a hassle to get receipts- going to have to stop using m6toll as any time saved is wasted faffing around getting receipts- what a useless system!

Every month it takes me over an hour to…

Every month it takes me over an hour to find my journey and print each receipt on A4 paper. Find no receipts found message then have to screenshot my online banking to prove I did travel. I have to send physical receipts into my work. I even find myself finding other routes to cut down on all the downloading and proving 4 times that Yes I am human on their verification pop up. Worse thing they ever did. No I don’t want a Breeze account!

Net zero benefit for customers.

I am unable to obtain receipts for several trips along the toll road in May and June.Taking the toll road saves time, however the time saved is balanced trying to gain receipts.It is understandable removing receipts at the booths may prevent queuing, save paper and power which no doubt improves revenue for M6 toll and, benefits the environment slightly, but there’s a net zero benefit for customers!

May as well stay on the M6

May as well stay on the M6 - any extra time spent there will be less than that spent later on messing around failing to get a receipt off their system. Good move this for the M6 toll but rubbish for customers.
