I have an account and usually the barrier lifts when I approach. On Saturday 15th June as I approached it did not rise. I had to use my credit card instead. Checking my online account I can see I was debited £7.40 for the journey and £9.70 on the credit card. I called and spoke to them and they said the sensor doesn't work if someone either reverses in the lane or it senses a person in the lane. The person in front of me got out to tap his card as he couldn't reach. Even though I sent them my online account details with the £7.40 debit plus the £60 top up fee they collected and my credit card statement they insist it is just a pending payment. These people cannot read as the credit card statement clearly shows it is not in pending. In the line above the £9.70 fee there is a top up of £60 for my account. There is an entry in pending as well for a dentist which therefore shows the £9.70 has been charged to my account. How can you reason with people who are deaf and blind? Any ideas how I get the £9.70 back? All they seem to do is either ignore the online forms or send a cut and paste standard reply.
