What a complete rip off this road is ,I have never used before and would never use again,I got on at the start and went down 1 junction leaving at Sutton Coldfield it cost me £9.70 what a complete scandle,I only got on because my sat nav gave up the ghost ,how is this company allowed to charge such an extortionate price,I had just returned from Spain, I used one of their tolls to almaria a good 50 miles and it cost 12 euro this is definitely rip off Britain...scandalous
I drove, what, 10 miles? And I was charged £9.70, and that is before 7am. To add insult to injury, this utter shower no longer issue receipts. Obviously they want to make even more money than that already gouged. I went onto their website - I cannot download a receipt. That is truly shocking. The time saved on using the motorway is lost by trying to get a receipt that does not exist. Never again. Theft is a strong word...I am using it.
I use the toll regularly from Lichfield going north and back. The information boards always state Min:£8 Max:£8.50Can you explain to me WHY I get charged £9.70 each way? Your boards are displaying incorrect information resulting in drivers being overcharged everytime.
I am leaving a 1 star review based on the fact that on the 17th and the 19th November I was charged £16.80 each time. I have now emailed the M6 toll on two seperate occasions asking for a refund for my current overcharge but they do not respond. I suspect they are overcharging thousands of travellers and making double the money, if I charged my customers double and did not respond to complaints, I would be called a fraudster. Rip off Britain.
