Literally highway robberyThey've stopped even pretending to be a real business and won't even give a receipt now, you have to put the work in to be robbed yourself.The response given below is just incoherent. Not only was it perfectly possible before the changes to present me a ticket for the length that I'd travelled so your explanation is manifestly wrong but the service online does not recognise either my card or registration, wrong on both points.Every review on here says the same thing since the change. Reverse it, this is just appalling customer service, no-one wants a receipt 2 days later that they have to work for... in what world did you mistake this for a good idea???
I'm sure the sign said 4.00 or thereabouts for a family car. Imagine my surprise when finding out it was £9.70!To save 6 mins (according to Google Maps) going to Cannock. If I'd known that I would have not bothered.What a rip off, poor pricing info up front!
How does this happen? Everyone who used to press a button for a receipt now has a 10 min job going online, you can’t just put your reg in and it pings up the journey nooo you need to remember date, reg, which card you used! How to pee off every all your customers! I’m shocked at this decision
I have used the M6 toll for years for business. It was so simple to use. I could print my ticket at the toll booth and claim it back quickly in my expenses. Today I passed through the toll and found no receipt was available due to the changes. I then found out its online okay not ideal but i can make that work. That's when you realise you have to wait upto 48hrs to get your receipt. I am sorry but this is appalling. When apps like RingGo can give you a receipt instantly on my phone why on earth can't the M6 toll have a system that allows you to collect a receipt straight after you pass through. Really Poor Service
Trying to get my receipt from the new system is by far the hardest thing to do. It does not recognise my registration plate, so i can log in, no email to reset my password or even create a new account......by far the worst system ive used. The time i have spent trying to sort this out has taken longer than if i was stuck in traffic......terrible.
Paid £16.90 for my van that is SMALLER than my Range Rover and that is £9.60. It used to be £4.80 for a car. This company needs to be investigated by the government as s monopoly around Birmingham when an accident occurred and the sat nav sends you onto the toll road to avoid congestion. REALLY REALLY BAD
