I ordered 'perfect fit' honeycomb blinds, they arrived in a timely manner, the quality is very good and they look great. Easy to fit once the first one had been put together and fitted, instructions were clear.I did have several telephone conversations with the company, every time, they were polite, patient and very helpful. Whilst it is true to say, there was an issue with one of the blinds, the Customer Service Team were absolutely 'on it', going above and beyond to solve the issue. Needless to say, there is no longer an issue and with this in mind, I would not hesitate to recommend this company as their Customer Service Team were excellent.
We have used this company regularly and their blinds are good quality and delivered in a timely fashion, however, the reason for the poor review is they are defrauding customers who utilise top cashback to make their purchasers. We have used topcashback in the past with no issues with makemyblinds. However with our recent order we took advantage of an "exclusive offer" they were offering if purchasing through top cashback for 8.5% cashback, only for this to be declined by makemyblinds for using "an unauthorised discount code." They are claiming this is unauthorised despite the fact it is STILL currently being offered. They have turned into a dishonest company who utilise false advertising to bait customers into purchases under false promises. A shame really as they were previously honest. I won't be using them again and instead going to one of the many many other companies who offer the exact same products at the same prices whilst treating their customers with respect. I encourage you to not use this company.
I had wonderful customer service fromKatie customer service executive she arranged a replacement blind that had broken and kept correspondence at every stage, she was informative and friendly, and having worked in retail my entire career it is really refreshing to receive this level of customer service, I am really impressed and wil be highly recommending Make my blinds to all my friends! It’s easy to purchase online but so often the after sales are not good but Katie went the extra mile, so thank you 🙏😊
I recently had some issues with broken blinds and brackets. I called customer service and Paul was immediately so helpful, very clear and advised me to send pictures. Very promptly he’s arranged for replacement blinds to be sent to me. Thank you Paul for your kind help!
Does not warrant 1 star.The worst company I have ever dealt with!!!!!Quality of the blinds is horrific. Design is horrific. Customer service horrific, my experience was horrific they literally do not care and are not interested if there is an issue. Leaving me with no choice but to contact the Ombudsman and make it known to everybody NOT to order from them. I seriously don't wish anybody to suffer like I have. I ordered the no drill blinds, my room was freshly plastered 2 months ago. The tightening cog is way too large, even touching the top of the window recess but due to the size the blind doesn't fit well and the blind comes underneath my window vents which looks ridiculous from inside and outside the house. I was told there is nothing wrong with the design it's my windows??? Nothing like passing the buck G....!Nothing on the website states not to use on newly plastered walls and due to the fit it's made a huge hole in my wall. I spoke to G.... who suggested she wouldn't use this type of blind, but how was I supposed to know as there is nothing to state otherwise on the website.The blinds slip down the window continuously due to the poor design. The chain keeps breaking as the child clip is weak. If I open or close the blinds the chain breaks and the blind slips down the window, who wants a blind they can't use? Colour is different to what I ordered, honestly I could go on forever. Please, please think twice before ordering this shabby and extremely poor quality so called blinds. Please do not make the same mistake as I did. I have put my faith in the Ombudsman who was utterly shocked and appalled by the treatment I had received. I will look forward to getting it sorted via them.
The quality of the Venetian blinds is excellent, however one of the three blinds I had ordered was manufactured incorrectly, not once but twice! On the first occasion the width was wrong. I contacted customer service and was dealt with by Gemma who quickly sorted out a replacement, but this arrived with the wrong colour tapes! After another conversation with customer service, this time with Ellie, another replacement is being manufactured. I have yet to receive this but hopefully all will be well this time. So I’ve deleted one star for the poor manufacturing process but absolutely cannot fault the quality of the response from customer service. On both occasions my concerns have been dealt with promptly, courteously and with good humour. Well done to Gemma and Ellie!
This company was easy and simple to use. I measured my windows using their guides (and triple checked them to make sure I did not have errors). I also paid the little extra to ensure that I could have a replacement should my Perfect Fit blinds not fit and for my piece of mind. They fitted perfectly (as per their name) apart from I measured the depth of our windows wrong (my error) and the company was very quick to send me out more clips without question. Once we had the clips, the blinds clicked into place in no time at all. Would definitely buy them again.
