DO NOT set up a Vinted account, they use Mangopay to process user transactions. Vinted allow you to sell on Vinted & build a balance, but they won't allow you to pay for anything or withdraw funds from your balance, despite completing identity validation & some crap about being a "Politically Exposed Person" whatever that is??? & still I am unable to pay for anything or withdraw money from my account & all Vinted say is "We are still investigating, thank you for your patience, Have a great day"
Asked to verify my id to withdraw £150 from vinted then verified with drivers license now balance is at 400 and it keeps failing with no solution or what i can do to fix it, can sell but cant withdraw or use my balance in anyway
WORST SCAM going with vinted!!! Stay away you sell your items they hold your money ask for pep politically exposed forms ! Such nonse and perosnal I.d all given and passed but they don't let you take your money !! Biggest scam platform and this payment processor is the worst stay away avoid avoid avoid
Literally stole my money. My bank transferred money back into myvinted account though Mangopay, and Vinted are saying they dont have my money and Mangopay wont even give me the time of day to reply. Absolutely shocking, daylight robbery this is insane in this day and age, i want my money back!!!.
Wish I could give -4 star review. Yeah got my money back, I'm lucky so it seems. But the way this company communicates to clients about THEIR money. Threatning me to charge me E30 when I don't withdraw my lousy hardearned E8,50. I never selected them when using the Peerby platform - who tell me they have ended their contract with them because they also hate their service. And as I read in the reviews they are also the payment partner of Vinted, just made me cancel that account too. These people don't know what the word customer service means. Are they evil? Maybe not by design. But certainly the worst rated company I ever had to deal with. So makes you wonder....
Absolutely disgusting I am selling on Vinted as I see on many other reviews I have £650 sat in my Vinted balance Vinted are a complete waste of space with there robotic pathetic replies only allowing passport and drivers licence I don’t have any of these apart from a passport in my old married name plus a change of name deedpole which won’t be accepted I am getting sick and tired of mangopay stealing my money I cannot purchase with my balance or withdraw it strangely enough I originally withdrew £717 but as stated £650 is now being withheld because they want proof of my identity funny how before I was allowed to withdraw the £717 without any issue AllI get from Vinted is a robotic apology and re ask for my passport and driver licence MANGOPAY I WANT THIS SORTED OUT I am looking to take this further with the relevant people this is theft of my money and a lot of other peoples money also as I can see it’s happened to so many people fraudsters the lot of them I’d give zero stars but there’s no option
I have been trying to withdraw a small remaining balance from my former Mangopay account for weeks now. Despite submitting all required documents multiple times, they are repeatedly rejected with changing and contradictory reasons. Every reply I receive is a generic, automated message that does not address anything I actually wrote.There is no real support, no manual verification, and no clear guidance. Instead, the process feels like an endless loop designed to delay or block the payout altogether.For such a simple request, the amount of time wasted is absolutely unreasonable.At this point, I cannot recommend Mangopay to anyone.
