Review Time
Well I truly don’t know where to start so I bought two vests from M&S £8 each I took the tickets of and put them in my drawer. I put one on and at night put it on walking when I got it out I realised that it was one of those vests with the sooooo irritating pads in it because one was missing immediately I took the new unworn vest back to them with pj’s and I explained that the vests were of absolutely no use to me as I can’t be pushing and pulling at pads that are absolutely useless every time I want to wear one SOOO the lady at the till checked it straight away knowing it hadn’t been worn and I said about the pads and she said so it’s faulty the pads aren’t stitched in place so as honest as I am I said no I haven’t worn this one the other one I did and wouldn’t dream of bringing that one back , this one’s new etc etc and she immediately said oh I thought it was faulty but as you have no receipt (because I bought them of vouchers I won on the peoples postcode) and the tickets have been removed can’t do anything I’m afraid find the tickets are bring it back but I’m needed and elsewhere so take it with you because I need a code thee code and because you have taken it off i don’t know how much it was so cant refund it I could have argued and brought a new one the hanger one over to her because I saw the lady serving at the till next to her look as much as to say exactly that but I could tell it was just her she knew as a manager that’s all she needed to do but she just wasn’t going to do it so I got my shopping and left only as I was standing trying to find the purchase on my phone th hi I’ll another lady who had been standing with a trolley full to the brim with stock said exactly the same thing but by that time the MANAGER WAS AWAY to fix what was going on upstairs the big deal who was needed because there’s no other manager could have dealt with the whatever was going on upstairs I was and I just am very disappointed with the behaviour and the NO RESOLUTION she was not even going to try to resolve this a simple exchange would have been perfect because I was buying other things and she saw them , just not a nice person and not what I expected from M&S . Then came the ready meals 3 for £10 the Italian ones especially all it is was a bit pasta with a tomato sauce yet it’s called MEAT FEAST 🤭🤭I was destroyed as I was looking forward to it but I’ve found ALL M&S italian meals are the same just no good unless you like tomatoes and LOADS AND LOADS AND LOADS OF THEM . No wonder M&S are going drastically downhill every item is a cheap and tacky copy of WHAT USED TO BE.
i hold a high opinion of marks and spencer,but today i failed topurchase on the website and also failed to place telephone order.i am deeply disappointed.links on the website don't work and staff are ignornt about the proucts on the phone.i shall go to waitrose in person.they always get full marks
Ordered online three items of clothing on a Wednesday informed delivery would be the following Monday with Evri, this failed as did the promise of being delivered on the Tuesday then the Wednesday.On telephoning Marks and Spencer with great difficulty due me not speaking Hini and the staff apparently not understanding English, I was told that Evri had lost the package and a replacement order would be raised, later I received an e-mail confirming the replacement oder however this showed only two items, phoned again trying to explain one item was missing, after having to repeat myself several times I gave up and repectfully said I was sorry but I simply could'nt understand what they were saying I requested that I wished to make a complaint and they eventualy understood and that someone would phone me back, of course nobody did. This is so frustrating and takes away any enjoyment of shopping with M and S.
Bought a red bow jumper for daughter 4th October and sales assistant tried to charge me €40 until I highlighted price tag said €35. One month later same item is for sale on M&S website for €13.50 full price, €10.80 sale price. Huge discrepancy. Many items in store have white stickers over UK price, no euro price until you get to cash desk to pay. Seems very dynamic pricing model for Irish customers. Bought pyjamas priced €24 and at til they tried to charge €26 saying exchange rate had changed! You really need to watch prices, I personally will be avoiding as too frequently over charging for already overpriced goods.
Placed an order for 9 items amounted to £100.00. Due to pick up today only to get an email to say ALL items out of stock and my entire order has been cancelled. WHY did they take the money I now have to wait up to 5 days for the return of MY money.They deserve to lose their business.
