BEWARE! Do NOT buy furniture from M and S.

Do NOT buy furniture from M and S.I bought a small double bed for my daughter under 2 years ago and it came with a 10 year guarantee. The bed has collapsed and is so poorly made that it could never have lasted 10 years. Instead of a full refund under the terms of the guarantee, they have offered me a 'sliding scale' reduction of 81% because I have owned it for nearly 2 years. The service and company are almost as cheap and nasty as their furniture. BEWARE!

Absolute shambles ordered a delivery…

Absolute shambles ordered a delivery and was given dates when the items would arriveby.Can not believe that they use EVRI. Apparently, so I was told by M and S Customer Service. M and S have NO Control over the delivery ????? that is down to EvriCalled them yesterday but they were un helpful as the parcel could be delivered by 7pm. Evri never deliver that late and the parcel has been stuck at the local depot for 3 days but still didn't arriveThe other part of the order is due tomorrow but was not dispatched til late last night....I was also told that by the operative in South Africa that he would phone me at 11 oclock this morning to make sure it had arrived. Gave them till 11.35 and then phoned them.The operative, Zinale was brilliant in her customer skills but her hands are tied by H.O seamingly.Have used M and S all my adult life as they represented the best quality and service. Will be a long time before I will use them again unless they sort out their deliveries.Are they penny pinching by using EVRI?If anyone in senior management is reading this my ordernumber is 301-0060136-1987165

new low for m&s

after buying our grocerys at m&s for more years than i care to remember we have finally had enough . The quality of their food has been steadily dropping for several years now, but this week it reached a new low we bought a cottage pie and it was not worthy of being sold by iceland. The mash was just potatoe it had no butter ,cream or even milk in it and tasted like wallpaper paste, the meat was gristly and tastless too , it was just very poor quality. this was the last straw for us . Tesco finest is now much better. And the clothing, if you dont like 100 shades of brown and beige dont bother.

i would give no stars if i could im missing a whole order of clothes i did online ,it said iv received the order but i have not ,they have not investigated with Royal mail and Evri to see that my post code does not match my delivery address this has been going on since October 2025 and several emails and each reply saying i have received my order!they told me to report this to the Police!!!I am disgusted the way i have been treated they have taken my money for goods i have not received ,also one marks and Spencer package did not even contain the goods i ordered !as the package had been tampered with opened and taped up with fragile tape!! (pair of childs jogger pants)Will not be doing online shop with this company again so beware if your parcels go missing they will not help you at all to resolve it!

Food store in Newbridge White Water. Absolutely disgusting customer service, was served today 1.30 pm by a man, aggressive attitude, as a foreigner was totally shocked you can pretend you’ve no English and you’ll hear them. Love this store though quality of food is amazing, ground coffees, bakery bread, but customer service must be addressed.

M&S Chesterfield - no toilets

M&S Chesterfield - huge store but no public toilets. Plus, all clothing sales are self checkout, so you don't even get the courtesy of a staff member. Awful place: avoid.

Visited M&S in Bury St Edmund’s on Sat 13th Sept and needed to find a product & to get online to M&S website & unable to log in! A very helpful gentleman called Mark who was filling shelves in biscuit aisle went above & beyond to help me even though I could see he was very busy. He was very courteous & also determined that I receive help without going away empty handed. I would like to give credit to a member of staff who so rightly deserves the recognition for his dedication in his job in working hard & excellent customer service ! from a grateful customer

We travelled to Killarney for dinner and popped into M&S Killarney to buy clothes for my sister.Victoria & Theresa were so helpful and helped us set us M&S app for discount. Thank you ladies. We have been shopping in M&S for years and the first time we received a goodwill discount. Made our weekend. Thank you for your kindness towards my special needs sister😊
