Incompetent workers and landlords

I have never come across such an incompetent bunch of workers and landlords. They manage a property below me in Stevenston North Ayrshire and there has been ongoing issues with rats & unkept Gardens covered in dog mess for nearly 2 years. No reflection on the tenant who is lovely and unable to cut the grass due to not keeping well. Her kids, one who is disabled are unable to safely enjoy their own garden. Landlords and Mears should be ashamed. Jane Marshall and Anthony Keenan I have never come across 2 people that cant even acknowledge or reply to email between them. Never Available on the phone either Next step of complaint ready to go from my end but I would stay well away from these cowboys

Shocking

Shocking! Impossible to get hold off have waited 2 years almost for this repair to happen, when you do get an appointment for a repair you wait in and they cancelled the job without notifying customers along with no explanation as to why.

Was told mears coming out to do work on house bean waiting for work to b done since 2022 they have done some of it but was told Wednesday that mears was coming out Thursday morning to put new tiles in porch and it is now 12.50 pm Thursday and no one has turned up yet so what is going on it was ment to b 1 day's work if u r council tenent mears r the worst firm out their so if got the money get it done by a good firm and u can charge the council for the work and at least u know it is done right mears u got 1star was going to give u no stars but phone won't do it ont hink to say to mears get your finger out and get job done on time

Monumental Incompetance

This band of buffoons have consistently failed to achieve the very low standards they set themselves. I agree with other reviewers that Mears appears to see these situations as work-creation opportunities. They deliberately stretch the work out as long as possible to extract the most money from the council taxpayers of Exeter. They also do not like being held accountable. I recently contacted the housing assets surveyor who very quickly got things moving. Mears obviously did not like this and is now playing petty power games and deliberately delaying the internal works in a pathetic attempt to establish dominion. They are truly awful.

Hell to work with. Shoddy work

How these people get away with contracts is beyond me. Bodge job everything,cheap as possible. They create work with simple jobs so they have to come back out and say they're "affective" they're *really* not... most recently I've had a 2 year long disrepair battle going on, still uncompleted and my solicitors at gowing law have told them it's a breach of contract as they have instructed them supposed to hack off 2 m square by 2 meter square of plastering by my front door, left wires dangling covered by "gaffa tape" to "make it safe" took over a week to get electrician out, planner never called me back when I was told they would. Always show up when your not in dates and times are never given. I would never use if I had personal choice.

He's not welcome in my home again

The mears inspector that was at my property yesterday is not welcome back ,Chris I belive his name was ,arrogant, rude ,disrespectfully,changed his attitude when the council inspector turned up ,I remind you this is my tenancy and I pay the rent ,have some respect for peoples homes,considering this work has been on going since September,and still not completed, mears didnt turn up today as expected so I have 5 fist size holes letting in water ,wind, rats ,why don't you all come in
