Their the worst company

Their the worst company! For one job you need to wait one hour on the phone to speak to someone and when you do, you have 3 deferent workers caming in for the same job in the space of 3 days and its still not sorted! They all say a deferent thing lie to you and you end up with no water for over a week in the house thanks to them!

Awful company

Awful. Mears is in charge of the Major Works in Lambeth. I have been dealing with them for 2 years as a leaseholder (the landlord is Lambeth hence the contract with them...) and all their work is appalling or extremely low quality. The workers are all under skilled men who have no idea of what they are doing. You need to keep on chasing them for everything.The price asked for their Major Work is an extortion of money; nobody even with a low IQ would accept to work with them, but yet, they are cover by the Lambeth Council (that smells the corruption at this level)Many residents dealing with them are thinking exactly the same as described above.

Gas service due

Gas service due. Phoned them on the day to say i was isolating so could not allow engineer in. Was told he would contact engineer. 5 minutes later i received a text to say work had been carried out . Engineer apparently misheard the message regarding me being isolated and isolated my supply. 1 week on .. no heating no gas no hot water and Mears have failed to reconnect my supply even though i was reassured from 2 out of 3 phone calls they were flagging it as urgent. Complained to the council and a lovely lady there rang on my behalf demanding heaters be delivered to which they agreed. 7pm and 2 small heaters delivered. Abdul who was the 3rd person to deal with my complaint was so unsympathetic and showed no compassion. If i heard him say "innit" once i heard it a dozen times. He was rude and certainly needs to improve his customer service. Up until this point i have had little to complain about MEARS but when you get lied to and spoken down to its unacceptable. Especially as this whole thing could have been avoided if the engineer had been given the correct information. They were also unsympathetic to the fact i had a child of school age living at the property too.

Terrible Service

Awful company. Two months after moving in I still don't have access to my own parking space and no repairs have been addressed. Previous tenent left the property in a state...it was clearly not checked before I moved in.

I’m only giving generous 1 star as 0…

I’m only giving generous 1 star as 0 isn’t available! The worse service I’ve ever came across! An engineers kept failing to attend to my broken boiler for 2 weeks! When they finally arrived they’ve said that boiler needs to be replaced. It’s been replaced and worked for the whole 2 days! We are without hot water and heating again!

Another incompetent company

On many occasions I have been badly let down by MEARS. Either because the quality of work or their inability to even turn up ! Most recently, an engineer was scheduled to come to fit a new shower, however, he arrived 2.5 hrs late and did not attend because apparently there was no access to my house, which was strange because 15 minutes later, my partner was home and his car was safe on driveway! If you have anything to do with MEARS, I wish the best of luck !

What customer service

Absolutely disgusting attitude from the customer services in Leeds, 3 days we've waited to get our heating sorted out and still not working, phoned mears up and got conflicting answers from it will be today or up to 24 hours when the lady in question was asked again she'll blatantly denied saying that it would take up to 24 hours even though I had the phone on loud speaker and 3 people heard what she said and then stared to get cheeky and obnoxious, I wouldn't deal with a company like this if we weren't council tenants absolutely disgraceful attitude from a so called company that cares aye right

Terrible service.…

After numerous phone calls to the repairs line from several tenants, no engineer has ever turned up, and our heating problems are still unresolved. The operators are curt, unfriendly, unprofessional and couldn't care less about customers. Promises to call back are completely ignored.
