I was gifted an anklet, it broke and warranty gave me a credit as the style I ordered was discontinued… ordered a new one to replace it, and the spring in the clasp went so once again a warranty claim is made and once again the piece is discontinued. Not only is the anklet sentimental bc of who gifted it and the time I’ve worn it, but I don’t like the current style. I asked if it could be fixed, no. Only option is to return for a credit. Jewelry pieces are often gifts and often sentimental. I would not purchase from here again simply based on the fact that not only do the pieces seem to often have issues, but there’s no way to get a sentimental piece fixed, just a credit. I also personally think it’s tacky to make someone return the broken piece that you refuse to fix…. The pictures show it’s clearly broken. I have instead paid a local jeweller to replace the clasp, and while im happy to have the piece back in working condition I’m irritated that this cost Mejuri nothing as they won’t issue even a credit unless I return the piece.
Disappointing Experience with Mejuri – Avoid!I had a truly frustrating experience with Mejuri, and I feel compelled to share my story to warn others. A friend purchased a gift for me through Mejuri’s website in Australia and had it delivered to me in France. Unfortunately, the item didn’t suit me, but I was relieved to find out that Mejuri offered free returns on gifts, allowing for a credit note to be spent online. Little did I know that what seemed simple would turn into a disaster.After returning the item, I was first sent a credit code, only for them to issue another one later without any mention of the original code. Even worse, neither of the codes worked. I’ve been stuck in an endless email exchange with customer service for over two weeks, trying to resolve this. Eventually, they told me the issue was that I needed to change the currency from euros to AUD for the code to work. I did that, but then I found out I could no longer ship the item to France, where I live!Finally, I was told that I couldn’t use the credit to have the item delivered to France because the credit is only valid for Australia. How does that make any sense when the original item was purchased in Australia and shipped to France?Now, their "solution" is for me to have the item sent to Australia, get a friend to pay for shipping, and then send it to France. Completely ridiculous and absurd for a brand that markets itself as high-end and customer-friendly. I will never shop with Mejuri again and would strongly advise others to avoid this company. The experience has been nothing but stressful and disappointing! Avoid - especially for gifts!! Not worth the stress or hassle.
The Customer Service method is absolutely backwards, awful and annoying ! Got pair of earrings Huggie hoops. After a few weeks they became so stiff to open like they were going to snap! Sent them back and waited basically a month they sent back the same pair “repaired” which were not much different from when I sent them apparently they weren’t “under warranty” despite them being literally a few weeks old. I asked for a new pair or a refund and they want me to send them back again to do so which is so so so so annoying and I genuinely can’t be asked I have anxiety to send them and chase!! When I sent them back the first time you don’t even know if it’s got there or not you have to physically contact them. Now let me say it’s not the people responding as they are human and just being helpful and kind but this brand needs to re look customer service. I can’t even count or recall how many different people I was emailing. It should be the same person or even 1/2 people dealing with this it was so many an I am so frustrated and bored with this now I just let it go it’s so draining !£98 hoops to be faulty so fast? Not good, I have no idea what the markup is but they gave be £15 credit which I can’t even get anything with cause it’s all very pricy.Annoying as I was recommend this brand !
I’ve bought a couple pieces in store & online and I am obsessed with every piece I’ve gotten! And if I’ve had issues where I needed to speak to a representative about an order they’re always quick to get to it! Love this brand!
