Dodgy sales tactics

My colleague bought me a Slim Pen 2 as a birthday present. At over £100 this is a very expensive accessory. Nowhere on the packaging and almost hidden in the online description is the fact that it does not come with a charger. It is a non-standard charger priced at £30 and you can't even switch the pen on to try it out without this accessory. This is a disappointing tactic from my previously most trusted supplier.

Stop messing and leave my laptop alone

Well let's give this another try. First was deleted part way through. I wish they would stop updating. Every time it is a mess - my desktop is all relocated now and I cannot put files where I had them before for my work. Spreadsheets are a challenge - if I ran a grocery store well ok, but I want for personal use for record keeping I do external and internal. If their changes were an improvement instead of just a new and juvenile style, I might not have a problem. Has it occurred to them that we may know better what we want than some employee playing in programming hoping to get a raise. Wish there was another system I could use.

Criminal fraudsters with a big name only

Wow, the poor reviews aren't surprising with so much incompetence. Very fishy hiring processes, brought the company to court for their corrupt tax strategies and this is still ongoing unfortunately. The company turns everything around like they want/ want to hear: arrogant, ignorant and in my opinion just criminal fraudsters with a big name.

Impossible to reach a customer services person

Every time I try to contact Microsoft over the phone, the AI can’t understand me, if I call support is because I have exhausted all other possibilities. It should be easier to speak to a person. I spend hundreds of pounds yearly on this company and they don’t really seem to care. Will be looking for alternatives for all of my packages.

Lets clear up a few things

Lets clear up a few things. a) Their products (Office) are great and largely do what they say on the tin. b) All software cannot be tested on every setup in the world so I accept they cannot get it all right all the time. c) It was better when Bill Gates ran the company! Now - 1. Why is is so difficult to get all the office products to work together and be able to integrate - I put an excel sheet in a Powerpoint or word document the auto maths stops working if cells are updated - Not Rocket science to make that work. 2. Why can MS Forms not be integrated into Word so we can make good looking forms in a word document that can be used by emailing out and get the forms back completed - I know we can make forms in Word - but that is a serious ball ache. 3. Viso - why can this not be incorporated into Office 365 instead of stuff we do not use - never used Access and a few others..not really VFM is it!4. Many years ago there was an excellent product called Frontpage - exellent for websites and for making flyers etc (I know that is not what it was meant for) - we need its functionality added to Word - as word is at the moment it cannot create HTML docs as it does not have the flexibility. I know you will not likely give me an answer here, but there needs to be a way for customers to give you meaningful feedback and "wish lists" that will improve things for use and thus you. Overall I think you do a good job - although you are forcing me to replace a perfectly good laptop in order to upgrade to W11 - My other half uses a Mac - at least you are better than them...Apple are just conmen.

Too expensive - not fit for purpose

I never had issues in using teams on my phone or laptop just using the browser but a few months back I was unable to use the browser as despite clearing the cache and deleting the uni login this kept appearing. I also couldn't join a meeting on my phone. It seems that the main issue is that I'm unable to join business meetings since my plan is a personal plan. I would have to pay £20/month to be able to attend meetings with Teams via the app. This means that I have to attend the office to use a desktop every time anyone sends me a Teams meeting link as I'm an outreach worker and Teams doesn't work on my phone or laptop. Today was particularly difficult as I needed to attend a high risk meeting for a vulnerable adult and missed it as couldn't join. It was embarrassing, making me look very unprofessional. This means that if it had been a job interview, I would have lost it as it happened a while ago with an interview for a counselling diploma. This is why so many businesses have stopped using Microsoft. It's expensive and mediocre. At work we moved to Google.I will find other options as I'm not paying £80 a year for a company that doesn't provide the minimum. I have a heart condition and this left me in a state today.
