We're trying to use Azure boards with the Github integration, but it just keeps messing up in different ways. The newest issue is, that by linking my Github Account to my Microsoft Account using Azure Boards, the login to my Microsoft account was blocked as I was apparently doing actions that were not supported by Microsoft's ToC. My dear friends, I am following a tutorial that you put onto learn.microsoft.com. Are you telling me that your own terms and tools are against your own ToC?And then the only way they present you to reactivate your account is through phone?! You have my E-Mail, and I have an authenticated setup. WHY do you need my phone?!Microsoft is a joke at best, and a scam at worst.
I had always viewed Microsoft OneDrive as a bulwark, a digital sanctuary where my cherished memories and essential documents were safe from harm. Entrusting a service with the mosaic of my life's memories is no small gesture, and I had believed in OneDrive's promise of security. Then, the unthinkable happened. A significant chunk of my data, holding irreplaceable memories of family events, milestones, and everyday joys, vanished without my knowledge or consent. While data mishaps can occur, what compounds the shock is the way OneDrive handled the situation. A seemingly nonchalant email, buried under other notifications, surfaced, informing me of the deletion well after the 30-day restoration window had elapsed. The stark realization that I might never see these memories again is harrowing. This isn't merely about lost data. It's about moments of my life that I painstakingly captured, believing that in today's digital age, they were preserved for eternity. It's about the breach of an unspoken pact between a user and a service provider.Even more alarming was OneDrive's tepid response. For a company under the Microsoft umbrella, one would expect rapid, compassionate, and effective support. Yet, I was met with what felt like a pre-generated list of troubleshooting steps, lacking the understanding of the emotional and practical gravity of the data loss. This incident has irrevocably damaged my trust in OneDrive. It serves as a stark reminder that even the mightiest tech giants are fallible and that our trust, once given, can be fragile. The emotional toll, the loss of trust, and the reconsideration of OneDrive's reliability are all too real.To potential OneDrive users or those contemplating cloud storage solutions, I urge caution. Always have backups, question promises of full-proof safety, and most importantly, recognize the invaluable nature of your digital memories. I learned the hard way; I hope others don't have to.
Would give 0 stars if I could.UK customer service is non existent, unable to send a Hotmail verification code to my number as 'this is not a username' - yeah no sheet, it's a phucking phone number. Unable to speak to a human as 'all information is now online' but their website takes you in circles. Can't even make a complaint. The whole system is a joke and their UK customer service lead needs to be sacked. Won't ever renew my subscription, for a multimillion pound company you think they could hire a human to speak to. Phucking bullsheet.
I have spent hours trying to contact Microsoft about a problem relating to my Live e mail account. People e mailing me keep getting an e mail response saying a spurious e mail account is full and that I have not received their e mail message (which I have). It is impossible to get through the labyrinthine options to speak to someone to get this stopped
Dear Microsoft, how much money did it cost you to get control of PCs hardware and software. I'm paying for my computer, but you control it, making whatever changes whenever and however you wish. Today, you've made it impossible for me to get into my email. Needless to say, this control is causing me much grief. The only "mission" I see is to empower Microsoft financially and more. I think your company and your products are disgusting. Wish I could afford a Mac, but then you know Macs are out of reach of most people, so you carry on with your inhumane quest.
I wrote a review earlier but f*** that, The agent I got connected to was nice but f***ing hell Microsoft are id**ts they went on and instead of fixing and helping my account they went and deleted everything thousands and thousands of game hours gone, disappeared, wasted along with multiple purchases in games and on games, absolute sh** company, was laughing at a guy earlier that said he would beat up the owner but honestly feeling the same after their terrible attempts of helping.
would not recommend buying a surface pro had several issues with my surface currently on my 4th replacment device which is also now having issues microsoft refuse to roelace the device with a new one despite having constant issues and have said the only thing they can do is issue another refurbished unit which is part of the problem. no company should be selling products that require 4 replacements and still refuse to send a brand new device. microsoft support are no use either. avoid if you want a device and service which is useful very very dissatisfied with this experience and microsoft overall
