mictosoft is great,, "but" ,, ever since windows 11 came out, i gave it a try, they made things worse like remove most of the troubleshooters including the power troubleshooter!! please put them back, it makes things easier for us to fix any problems that we may run into! i will NOT be using windows 11 and i will be going back to windows 10 and hopefully windows 11 is fixed including the blue screen of death (BSOD) on windows 11 updates!!!
I’ve dealt with a lot of companies and issues over the years, but I’ve honest to god never have experienced as horrid of a time with Microsoft and their CS.I recently started using my Xbox after months away from it. Had some issues pre-ordering a game and was told to contact support. At first, these agents wouldn’t tell me a thing, other than they wouldn’t be able to restore purchasing access; no reason why.After speaking to a plethora of people, I finally found an agent who told me what the hell was going on. I tried pre-ordering a game too many times, and it set off their security. A regular occurrence and a typical fix, he said. Assured me that after re-escalating it again, that everything would be restored.This same agent told me that if it was rejected for whatever reason, to respond to his email so that way we could stay on top of it. Welp, this same agent emails me a few hours later with total amnesia and said there was nothing that could be done, a complete 180 from what was originally said.A file a complaint with the BBB, they respond and I get a call from someone, Heather P, at Microsoft in WA claiming they’d take over my case to help…aka they’d be doing absolutely nothing differently. A few days later, I get the same copy and paste response from her that I got from other agents. I spent an hour of my time on the phone with her, giving as much information as I possibly could, only to have it wasted. Ending it with a ‘Thank you for being an Xbox Live member.’ When I can’t even use their services…This has by far been the most stressful month dealing with them. I’ve never seen a more incompetent system of support. As it stands, I’ve never had a history of suspensions or infractions with my account, and even with this current problem, I still don’t. Yet, they can’t come up with a legitimate reasoning for messing with my account.In the end, I have zero issues with this outcome, as I don’t plan on purchasing anything from them ever again. I’ve been a longtime user and customer for years, and this completely put me off of them for good.
They are pathetic, scammers and fraud don't even have sense how to speak in English.We asked them they we are leaving your services kindly send the backup of our emails, but the Microsoft illiterate employees did not even respond back.I am going to report their LLC, I would suggest do not use Microsoft.Their uneducated engineer Sreenath he wasted my 10 days but not even provided my the backup.
Microsoft : I bought Microsoft office back in July 2023 but It was not doing a specific task ( which is why I bought in in the first place) , I tried to contact them . I must have sent hundreds of emails to them. One response and then complete silence. So I contacted my MP who in turn contacted them in August . They are not replying to her either ! This organization should be accountable to someone ? Appalling customer service or should I say non existent customer service !.So ongoing to try to get a response from them and we are now 31 October 2023
I hate Microsoft. An OS is supposed to be a personal workspace. If I choose you as my OS then I expect and should have the right to that personal space. Microsoft has clearly crossed the line and is invading our privacy. It should be my right to choose what app I want on my computer not Microsoft's. I should be able to choose an alternative app and if that app is not your product, then you should not be forcing your app and taking up the memory in my computer that could be used for something else during runtime. By forcing apps, then you are forcing an unused app, to be sitting in the computers memory wasting space. I do not want the forced microsoft edge and I will never use it, the xbox app or any other apps that microsoft is forcing.I am so tired of you forcing updates and using security as the reason why. I do not want your stupid updates. My computer doesn't allow win 11 to be installed, you clearly did 11 this way to force people to buy newer computers, so I will never use 11 and I don't want any of the updates at all, and I should have that right. I do not want to use microsoft edge at all. Its slow and ugly. In the 1992 lawsuit, the supreme court ruled that you were supposed to separate all your products, especially the browsers, but here you are again, with Microsoft edge embedded into the system so that it can not be removed. It is a waste of space on my computer. Its nowhere near the capability of google and everyone hates google, but they hate edge even more, so replacing google with edge is not going to happen.An OS is suppose to be designed to be the cleanest and most efficient program in the computer, which also is designed for for speed and performance, and you wonder why windows is so slow and jittery. I can see it flickering. Its because you're embedding and forcing all the extra crap. If you want real performance go the opposite way and drop stuff from it.I am tired of Microsoft thinking it ok to allow google to place ads on my desktop. This is my desktop and it should be ad free. If I am on the internet, then that is another story because web pages have ads, but not on my desktop. This is my personal workspace. Microsoft is slowing down production and workflow by allowing the interruption of mine and others focus because of ad pop ups. I should not have to go do work arounds every few days to suppress and re-suppress all the forced crap. I hate this new ceo who has done all this and he should be fired. I hate that he had the c ui designer removed from previous versions of visual studio. The best thing microsoft could do is first come off all the forced crap. Strip the os down to bare essentials to provide better performance especially now that we have wsl. Provide removable apps. Next get edge capable of replacing google. Make a youtube replacer. Fire your ui people because most of your ui has been ugly since win 8. Quit trying to abandon c and find a way to make the win32 api better and easier to connect to. Quit making people hate you by not allowing them to choose menu colors. If you want uniformity then make it required to have the app look a certain way before they submit to the ms store otherwise leave the option to make apps any color. Seriously white is the color you choose to force? When we all know that dark mode is the most common now. I mean seriously forcing a black menu would of made far more sense then a white menu.Most importantly Ms needs to come off their biases. It is clear in the people they hire that they are not being fair in their hiring process. Just like google it seems. The CEO is biased of his own native country even doe he runs an American company. Microsoft edge needs to add the option to be able to refrain searches from unwanted countries like India.
I have been locked out of my account for reasons I don't even know. I've had this email account for almost 30 years and they've decided to just lock me out with no warning, notifications or update. I can't get hold of CS because it requires me to log into my Microsoft account which I can't since my account is locked. I really don't know what to do and I have important emails coming through. I keep completing the form and waiting 24 hours for a new request, nothing is happening. The frustration is based on lack of communication- very very disappointing!
They locked me out of my hotmail account because I opening it at work so it was suspicious. Then they asked for code verification which would be sent to the only other email I have at yahoo - it never arrived. Requested it again. How can I not know my only other email account address and get that wrong?I've filled in a verification form after opening a Gmail account to get a code just for that and twice it says the information is not enough. I supplied 4 or 5 email addresses that I recently sent to and the contents header.Their security is ridiculous - bearing in mind I can actually see my hotmail account through yahoo's link but can't get emails or send them - so that information provided is very accurate because I checked it. So I'm providing exact information that they don't recognise.Never ever using them again. I've already advised all and sundry from my bank to my friends to use my yahoo account now. That took me approximately 6 hours of research and several bottles of wine to calm my nerves.I've opened up a Gmail account and that has nice platform and probably will use that in future.The most saddest things about this though is an old friend and ex-boyfriend of mine sent me hundreds of emails and guess where they are - locked away so I can't get to my deceased friends emails and transfer them to an active email account. If you were dealing with a human you would get assistance but you aren't.
