I cannot believe how absolutely untrustworthy this company is. Initially I really liked the concept and thought it couldn’t be a service I could use regularly, despite my first ride being in a vehicle which was full of rubbish and smelt like smoke. This was unfortunate but tolerable. Now, however, I have been slapped with a 100€ fine for smoking in a vehicle, despite having never done so. The money was simply taken from my PayPal account without any notice before hand. I am not even a smoker, but somehow they claim that the detectors in the car have alerted them. Since then, I have had extremely frustrating correspondence with them regarding this problem, with no effort on their end to resolve the matter or to investigate why or how the sensors may have incorrectly detected smoke. The report they sent me also stated that the smoke only lasted roughly 1 minute and was when the car was stationary, which to me could even mean it just detected smoke from outside the car while the window was down! I have serious doubts now about the trustworthiness of this company not because of this incident alone but because of the countless others who have reported the EXACT same issue both here and on other platforms. It seems to me that simply taking money from their clients without warning, and without them doing anything wrong is a common occurrence with this company, a great way for them to build consumer loyalty and trust, I’m sure. The only solace to me is that a company with this kind of relationship with their customers surely cannot last. Please, no one use this service, no matter how convenient it might seem. Do not risk being hit with this as so many others did. I am forced now to take legal action to try and get my money back.
The company is legitimate but their approach is to leech out on you by charging you extra for something you didn‘t ask for or didn‘t do at all.They also charge 29.5€ for basically and practically resending a fine from authorities. Avoid these leechers at all costs.
