Never had an issue with them, their cars are always there ready for you, almost all of them are good, some ones misses the washer fluids , or they are dirty inside but this is fault of the other users who has zero to none respect of the cars that they rent.I’ve always signaled the dirty and damaged cars so they give you some discounts and credits.Only thing that I don’t like a lot about the last price changes are the city fees, before it was free the city to city but now is not cool to pay an extra even more on top of the price of the ride, this sometimes let me think to change and take a car from the concurrents
Really appalling experience yesterday. We used a car to travel +/- 2 km and were unable to end the reservation without refuelling the car. This should have been notified before we hired the car so we had a choice. A five minute journey took an hour and cost 14 euros. The helpdesk were rude and uncooperative and the petrol station they sent us to would not accept the petrol card so we had to pay. Friday night ruined - thanks for nothing, Miles.
We were recently accused by a really unhinged person on the street who claimed we had hit another car whilst reversing into our drive way. The unhinged person called the police and we took photos of the vehicle in question to prove no such incident or damage had been made. Miles requested a report which we were happy to fill out however we were fined 130 EURO simply for the police report that the psychopathic passer by filed and another 250 EURO for not reporting the incident to miles....So basically be very careful with this company. They have a TERRIBLE policy when reviewing an incident and in our case where LITERALLY NOTHING OCCURRED we were still charged. When we requested a conversation over the phone to discuss the incident or a number we could call the team kept writing to us that we must 'REFRAIN FROM MAKING INQUIRES BY PHONE.' Rude, insolent and shocking service. We did not expect this from Miles and will be looking for a more trustworthy car company that protect their clients from incidents like this. Also the app is buggy, cars never lock and its always a MESS.
It was a great experience I really enjoy driving your cars they are so beautiful, performant and comfortable. I had a small issue with the door, it wouldn't close properly I had to pick it up a bit to close it properly but that aside it was great!
I had a very disappointing experience with MILES Mobility. When I picked up my car, there were already visible damages on the front bumper that were shown and documented in the app. Because of that, I didn’t take my own photos. After returning the car, I received a damage claim – even though the damage was clearly there before my rental. I repeatedly asked the company to provide the photos from the start of my rental to clarify the situation, but they refused. Without access to those photos, I had no way to prove my innocence and ended up having to pay the deductible. My advice to other users:Always save all photos of pre-existing damages from the app before you start your trip. Don’t rely on the company’s system to keep them accessible later. It might save you a lot of stress and money. It’s a shame that such a convenient service loses trust because of the lack of transparency in how damage cases are handled.
