I recently rented a car from Miles Mobility GmbH, and it was an absolute nightmare. Despite refueling the car correctly, as proven by the the fuel station, Miles charged me a staggering 1120 Euros, claiming I refueled a petrol car with diesel. This is simply not true. When I asked them for evidence of their accusation, they completely ignored me. It has been over 24 hours, and I still have not received any response. This level of customer service is unacceptable and deeply frustrating.I'm not the only one who has faced such issues. If you look at the negative reviews, you'll see many similar complaints. Miles seems to have a pattern of unfairly charging customers and then failing to respond when confronted.I strongly urge everyone to avoid renting from Miles Mobility GmbH. You might not have faced any problems yet, but it's only a matter of time before you lose your money and endure unnecessary stress. Save yourself the trouble and say no to Miles until they go bankrupt. This company is not worth the risk!
I rented a car that truly needed and The Company suspended my account for a second time. There is no reason for a suspension, and they don't give me any explanation. Contacting customer service via mail is so unorganized as different agents answer emails, with no clear link. I'm tired of going through procedures to reactivate my account. SCAM!!I used the service twice on Sunday and it was all fine until monday afternoon I got charged 100€!!! Then I go to the mail and turns out I am paying a smoking fee????? I have never smoked in my life and now they say I was smoking in the car? Sorry but what a f**king scam. Then you try to call someone and they are only technical service, they can send a mail to the corresponding department…which is? Does it even exist?? Seriously I won’t stop until this company is bankrupt!
If there was the option to give zero stars this would be my rating. I have lived in Germany for 10 years now. Going through a divorce and had to move a number of times and it would have been a huge help had you at Miles ever attempted to make contact. I know I am not the only one who has been unbelievably frustrated with this horrible company. I have a German drivers license and my passport. The license checked out but denied my passport, as my "Ausweis" is paper so the scan on the app will not accept it. I have sent multiple emails asking for assistance and help to resolve the issue. Not ONE word. Not ONE email. Nothing. Crickets. So, I will never recommend to anyone, nor will ever expect to hear from this sad, unhelpful business. Definitely not out to provide a "service" but just to provide their pocketbooks. Bravo
I would advise anyone that is considering using this company to think again. I rented a car with them last month and the car was incredibly dirty and their fueling feature didn't even work, so I had to pay for gas myself. But worst of all, some old guy hit the side of my car and made a scratch on the side of the back bumper while I was waiting for a pedestrian to cross, an accident I absolutely did not cause myself, yet a month later they still charged my card 450 euro. That's 350 euro for the damages + a 100 euro 'administration fee'. And that is with paying extra for their 'Protection plus' plan, otherwise they would have charged me 1100 euro. So unless you are willing to pay 1100 euro extra if someone ever hits you while driving, please look elsewhere!
