Review Time
What can I say that hasn't already been said. Firstly the App, it's useless. It's basically a diary and does not provide anything of value to resolve overthinking. Unfair T&C's, they will charge your card without warning after the trial period, there is no email reminder and you can't see your subscription details in the app, T&C's are not shared in the sign-up process or after payment. Basically an ONLINE SCAM, AVOID AT ALL COSTS
It's a scam do not sign up!The app itself doesn't help with over thinking. Gives you stuff to read and tasks to follow which I didn't find helpful. I quickly stopped using it.I paid for a 3month plan. It is not made clear that this is a subscription that will automatically renew. You are not told what further payments will be taken or how much they'll be.No further emails are sent and customer service may as well be bots. I have asked what the complaint process is twice now with no response. If you are looking to try and better yourself and de-stress your life do yourself a favour and avoid this app.
I am paying here my email exchange with their customer service for all of you to decide. Like other bad reviews, I was also charged for months I was not using the app and was not aware. ;Dear Jessica,I appreciate your response, though I must express my deep disappointment with the decision not to offer a refund for the months during which I was unknowingly charged for a service I did not use. When I first signed up, I was under the impression that I was accessing a limited trial. At no point was it made sufficiently clear that I was entering into a recurring payment arrangement. I understand that terms and conditions may technically support your current policy, but I urge you to consider the spirit of fairness in this situation.I stopped using the app very shortly after my initial access—well before the first renewal—and only later realized I had been continuously charged. Since I have not used the app at all beyond the original trial period, I respectfully ask: what am I being charged for? It is one thing to pay for a service; it is another entirely to be billed for nothing.Surely your system can confirm the absence of activity during the billed period, or you can take my statement in good faith. I believe that most reasonable people would agree that continuing to charge a customer who is not using the service—especially when that customer was not clearly made aware of the recurring nature of the payments—is not only unkind, but also damaging to your company’s reputation.I'm not disputing that there may be legal fine print. I'm appealing to your sense of integrity and customer care. I am asking that you reconsider this decision and issue a refund for the unused months. That gesture would go a long way in restoring trust and demonstrating that you value your users and fairness above technicalities.I hope you will take another look at this situation and respond with understanding.Sincerely,Their reply;Hello, Thank you for your reply. Please take a look at our Terms and Conditions, which state, and I quote: "We follow a no refund policy, unless the product is proven to be faulty. In such cases, User must contact our customer support at ... within 14 days upon purchase and must provide detailed information proving Company’s product fault (with visual proof attached)." Our Terms and Conditions can be found here: our refund policy is covered in section 6. That said, I am not able to issue you a refund.
Created a trustpilot account jsut for this review...Been charging my card for months via Apple Pay after cancellation, I have NO subscription to Mindway on my apple subscriptions. Disgusting practice, they know exactly what they are doing. The app itself is full of pseudo-science and wishy-washy, no way worth £25 a month either way.
Offered a trial period for a set price then took further money without notice. Took £30+ without informing you. Complained and they said no refunds. If you look at reviews on play store, a lot have the same experience. Under my review on play store, I was advised to make contact with customer services again. However they declined to help and refund me. The con artists tried to say that I was warned before accepting But that is a lie.
As others have said it comes across as a scam when a company auto renews subscriptions without at the very least sending you an email in advance. Then they refuse to issue a refund based on their 48 hour prior notice cancellation policy. Do not use this service if you value your hard earned money. They also do not send invoices. So it’s up to you to notice the charges to your credit card. Good luck dealing with these con artists. When they reply with this canned response below realize they have already denied me a refund. They provide no way of identifying the expiry date of your trial on their website or in app and no easy way of cancelling a subscription. Don’t be fooled. Update: They have failed to respond to new requests for a copy of an invoice for the charges on my credit card or my follow up request for a refund. They have no intentions of finding a resolution.
Many reviews below with the same issues I had - no clear way of seeing what "subscription" I had out any way to see how to cancel it or any email suggesting the pricing was going up. The messaging from Mindway all appears the same: they are "working to make it a more user friendly subscription process". Yet the lack of speed and the recurring nature of this issue leads me to believe this is a deliberate corrupt money making strategy, feeding on the vulnerabilities of those seeking genuine support. Disgraceful.
