Avoid at all cost!!!

Avoid at all cost!!! Completely scam and subscription trap. They renew the subscription without any email or notification and simply charge your credit card without any info. And the mobile app it self is anyway totally useless. It is all about money grabbers.

Warning: Do not sign up for any trial or promotion. This is just a gateway for them to take much more money from you.They scammed me out of 217.29 CAD for services I did not use!If, like me, they scammed you: report the problem directly in AppStore or Google Market. There are so many of us scammed, big companies must be aware.If you sign up for a trial use with Mindway, they quietly renew your plan and charge you double the price until you notice.In September, I signed up for a 3 months plan only, paying 35CAD. The app Mindway was not helpful so I didn’t renew the plan. Despite that, something called Effecto has been charging me double the price every three months amounting to 217.29 CAD in total!They charge appears as *Medical Score Automatic Purchase* on your bill, so people might overlook the charge thinking it is for something else. Be careful!I already contacted their support people they mention here and Nora told me she will not refund the charges. Note how striking one-star reviews here say the same about the company. This is just a money stealing business pretending to be a mental health app, ironically.

Has anyone else noticed the pattern...

Has anyone else noticed the pattern...I had an awful experience with the customer service team. They have charged for a subscription and while I have REPEATEDLY ask for copies of emails or anything that proves that they were transparent in presenting a subscription price or any emails communicating this, or indeed any correspondence around renewal (which they said were sent...), they keep responding "it was in our terms and conditions", which the link they provided has been updated since I purchased the workbooks, and they seem completing incapable of providing ANYTHING that shows I agreed to £41.82 being charged to my card twice (or anything that proves I agreed to them storing my credit card details). They also ignore the request in every reply, which to me is confirming that they have no records... because as I suspect it did not happen.....BUT what is interesting - a number of people are complaining about the same thing, after which a stream of single sentence 5 star reviews are posted following the same format, no personality or bespoke language which all showcase a slightly different feature of the app... could be a complete coincidence of course......

Do not use ! Gives you an offer of £18 which I thought was reasonable, just been charged £34 for an app that's supposed to help me why so expensive ! More like another scam for money 💰

It's a scam

It's a scam. I bought a 6 day plan and then it converted into a standard plan and a money was charged without any notification. When i contacted the helpline, they tried to hid behind the lengthy terms and conditions. A clever way of robbing people. I went through a so called plan which is itself a shit that doesnt really help you. A google copy paste so called personalised plans. On the top of it, you need to write them to cancel subscription whereas you can purchase anything straight away on the app. Please avoid these scammers and dont waste your money.

It is a scam, I paid a trial for 7 Euros and they charged me a subscription hidden in terms and conditions so that they took money from my card without my consent.They refuse to give my money back

Don’t let them fool you…

Update: I wrote the email on here and they hid behind terms/conditions implying that I did not cancel. I know I did. $39.99 for a day of checking it out. It seemed like a canned response similar to the responses from them on here.I think the app is great…it just isn’t what I needed. I tried the free trial and after 2 days I cancelled it…the only issue is that I got charged 39.99 today 🫤. I have reached out to customer service email and am waiting for a response…hopefully customer service is good! This why I hesitate to try anything when agreeing to pay later. It’s kind of a trap.

It’s not a great app and after a few…

It’s not a great app and after a few weeks I found myself not using it . The most disappointing part was after 3 months there were no reminders of renewal and they took another 3 months out. After questioning the ethical process of this I was just given a “policy T&C” jargon by what seemed like a bot. Given it’s meant to be a MH app it doesn’t help when they do not humanise their customer. Be careful if you purchase and put a reminder to cancel .

This is nothing but a scam!

This is nothing but a scam, DO NOT FALL FOR IT. You pay for a 7 day use and they don’t tell you anywhere they will continue to charge your card. You can not cancel your subscription (that you didn’t know you made) in the app but have to email them 24hrs before your “trial” that you paid for expires. Then you get an automated email they can take up to 7 days to respond!?! The app is basiaclly useless. If you do try it do not subscribe outside of the app or google store since that will make it impossible to ever get your stolen money back! You people should be ashamed of yourselves!!!
