As a digital nomad who's been working in more than half a dozen countries in the last couple years months, this service has recently been a lifesaver when I need medications refilled abroad. It's fast, reliable, and simple to use. Also when my kid's dermatitis flared up, or when my partner needed birth control refilled, this service was extremely helpful. I was able to get these prescriptions refilled in Berlin, Germany, without problems. Highly recommended!
Upon reading the reviews, it appeared that acquiring medications in Hungary would be straight forward and easy. I’m sad that on this case, I wasn’t successful in locating medication I needed.Consultation was easy and straight forward. I got my prescription, printed it out and went to 10+ pharmacies around the vicinity (1.5 hours I spent running around Budapest one weekday morning) just for every pharmacy staff to scoff and reject my prescription. They gave me a whole range of reasons, such as it being printed and not written, and that the signature is printed. Some of the pharmacy staff looked confused of an electronic prescription. I contacted Mobidoctor to let them know I was having issues with collecting any medication. I was suggested a location where I had already been - I went into the shop and received a “no” instead of medication. I asked in live chat for an alternative pharmacy where patients had gone and received medication before - with no reply or no chase up with the issue.It’s a real shame as the reviews I had read gave me a sense of security that I would be able to resolve medication issues while I am on holiday in Budapest. I now have wasted £32 and all I have to show for it is a piece of paper.I cannot make a comment about other countries while using this service but when Hungary is concerned I would just bare this experience in mind. Note: this review was written considering the pros and cons of Mobidoctor on this occasion. For me, there were more cons than pros when in Hungary. As a solo traveller it’s quite daunting to have to resolve something like this, so I really hoped it would be successful for me.
This is a gamechanger! Takes allllllll the hassle out of going to the GP especially for things that shouldn’t require an ‘in-person’ consultation. The doctor Garbriela took time to asses my needs and was really great and patient. Thank you Mobidoctor I will definitely use again. Ps make sure to ‘accept functional cookies’ this helps the voice/video connection run smoothly.
Mobidoctor saved our trip! It was really easy to set up consultations for me and my family as we all got a bad throat infection. The doctors were punctual and provided a diagnosis and a prescription very quickly. Although we first had challenges to use the prescription on Barcelona we connected Mobidoctor chat and they immediately gave us the location of a nearby pharmacy that took the prescription and gave us our medicationIn summary, quick consultations, great customer service, and it really saved us from being miserable during our vacations.
This service was recommended to me by someone as I am on holidays and have a chest infection. Paid the money, had the appointment and the doctor said I need antibiotics, all going fine so far. Got my prescription and went to the pharmacy and the pharmacist said the prescription QR code is not valid. What do I do now? After repeatedly calling the number on the prescription and nobody answering I'm at a loss now of what to do. My chest infection is extremely bad, my coughing is awful and looks like I've wasted my money on a dud prescription. Really not impressed
Great service! I needed to get a refill on my antibiotics while in Spain (I live in the US), but you can’t get them without a prescription. The Mobidoctor team sent me a prescription within 5 minutes and even corrected an issue on the prescription that the (very) particular Spanish pharmacist had! Great service, will use again when abroad!
Booked and paid for an appointment and cancelled within an hour as no longer needed. Messaged them via livechat to do this and was told they will issue a refund. Been chasing this for three weeks since and now being ignored, no refund given. I'm sure the service works but be mindful that should you need to cancel, they will not refund monies.
