Terrible after sales service -Andrew at their store in York was great but everything went wrong after leaving the store. The suit was delayed and then when it was 'delivered' it was sent in a suit cover and left with neighbours who do not exist! A witness saw the item being dumped in the garden three doors down the road. I have written to Moss Bros three times and each time send them my electronic receipt, their first two answers asked me for my receipt and then their third email got my name wrong and told me that they could not find my order. I have asked for them to escalate to a complaint and am just being ignored. I spent nearly £500 in their store, never again. Does ANYONE know where the suit jacket is because Moss bros certainly don't nor do they care.
Have been in several stores recently including Edinburgh st james and Gretna.Often spending 20 to 30 minutes in the stores and trying on multiple items often the staff don’t even acknowledge you and are to busy on their phones behind the till point. I should add at times the stores were empty. When staff did walk buy to shout at other customers looking at you Edinburgh there was not even a good afternoon or hello. All I wanted was a little help every other suit shop seems to greet you with a kind hello and a smile but not MOSS.
I used them as a tuxedo hire for my wedding and they were the WORST. Issue one – the guy who measured my husband didn't seem to give to shit about him. Didn't offer any help, any guidance. Expected us to know everything. Barely measured him correctly and mostly busied himself with the goddamn computer. Issue two — they never ever answer the phone. I rang the store in Victoria nine times in one day. I walked INTO THE STORE while on the phone and watched as all staff members ignored the phone completely. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Staff just seem to wander around like bobble heads. Issue three — When I had the groomsmen fitted, they couldn't find any of my husbands details in the system (so I had to get him re-measured). I was also told that the person who measured my husband OVERCHARGED him, because rather than adding the items as a package deal, he entered the items individually, thereby charging us £300+ rather than £175. I don't know what god forsaken system they use but it's clearly like Windows 97 because it's dogshit. I was told the groomsmen would have black buttons on their tuxedos because that's the style (but they tried on regular white shirts). FINE. Go to pick them up? There's no black buttons, but my father in law had purchased a shirt with black buttons after being specifically told this. My husband was missing cufflinks from his order as well. Honestly, this is the worst experience. There was so much back and forth, so much confusion on what exactly is in a tuxedo hire, no communication, no details. I kept being asked for the order number but the email I get from them only include the HIRE number which is apparently different. I offered my last name, but no apparently the groomsmens details are all under their own individual name rather than a grouped wedding party, making it very difficult to ensure that everyone has the correct items in their package.
My best advice would be stay clear of moss bros for suit hiring.I hired suits for my wedding and they almost ruined my wedding.Mine and my 2 best men, they messed up our orders 3 times!They were just completely careless. It was less than 24 hours before my wedding I managed to get it sorted. The amount of stress and anxiety they caused me was just unforgiving.I would NEVER return and I hope people read this and avoid you guys because you almost ruined my wedding
I have no problem with the products Moss sell but their customer service is really bad. I tried three times to contact someone at the Bournemouth store to tell them that I have an order arriving and that my suite will need adjusting, unfortunately, no one answered. There isn't even an option to leave a message, so I am having to waste my time ringing and hoping someone will pick up.

Purchased a 3 piece suit, after my wife had altered the length of the trousers we found a betting slip in the pocket from June 2024. Trousers were changed which was dealt with very well but there was no gesture of goodwill for all the inconvenience caused by this. Obviously the returns process at Moss is somewhat lacking somewhere, be careful you may get used goods!
Kingston. Pretty poor. Book an appointment for my son and I. Turned up on time and were vaguely suggested that the 3 of us sat on the single seat. Eventually a disinterested guy in a sweater turns up. Waved his hand a a sorry looking collection of hire clothing. Just samples. Noting that would fit. Gets another suit from the store to size. Not very nice. Legs so thin they are designed for people with stick legs. No option. That is what we do. Well if you want to look like an estate agents cool. But to look like a normal person. Seemingly not. For my son he was measured as a 33. 36 was all they had so he said it was a great fit. It wasn't And the drum roll the price of the suit £130 to hire. You can buy it for less. Moss bros is a shadow of its former self. I have used it for decades. Albeit some years ago. Run by accountants with an mba is assume. Don't bother. The staff are no good and the cloths pretty poor.
