I dread suit shopping. I'm not suit shaped, nothing fits and I hate talking to people in stores. If anyone comes over to me and asks if I need help with something I'll say no, even if I'm desperately in need of help.However, my opinions are being changed by Maecy at the Newcatle Northumberland St store. She had so much patience for me, had wonderful design tips and just generally made the experience so enjoyable. Her professionalism, accuracy and style had me leaving with the best fitting suit (for my wedding) I have ever worn feeling like a million dollars and honestly I can't thank Maecy and the team at Moss enough.When I'm next in the market for a suit this will be the first place I come.
Ordered some shoes for click and collect, followed up after hearing nothing for almost two weeks.Customer service told me to wait a few more days.Randomly received a receipt saying that my order was returned at a store 200 miles away from my house a few days later.No other communication from customer service.Eventually they told me the item was sent to the wrong store, that they couldn’t post it to the correct store, that I’d have to order again, and I couldn’t order again because the item was now marked as out of stock.Terrible experience.UPDATE: For some reason, I decided to order from them again, and this time after 7 days (and having charged my card) they eventually emailed saying they made an “error in their warehouse” and what I ordered is unavailable! 2/2 orders cancelled. Horrendous.Downgraded from 2 to 1 star.
Avoid at all costs. My sister bought all of the groomsmen’s suits from here. The best man unfortunately has fallen very poorly and had to have an operation, due to this he can no longer attend the abroad wedding. All the suit still has the tags on, obviously not been worn but she now needs a different size, as another man in stepping in his place. The suit is still in stock and available and they are refusing to swop it for them. Saying it’s not in their policy, this just shows you they only care about money, and not helping others in a stressful situation.The suit just literally needs exchanging for a smaller size.. AVOID! Will never shop here and will tell everyone to avoid!!
No reliability, hired a set of suits for my groomsmen for my wedding, and my best man received the incorrect waistcoat - despite paying for it, this ruined the photos and was fairly obvious at the wedding. When I spoke to moss bros they said that the order was for the correct one but it had they had delivered the wrong one. They offered a refund for the waistcoat but this never arrived. Would never use again and would recommend that you do not use the rental service unless you don’t care what your groomsmen wear.
Travelled over an hour to Cheltenham branch on July 5th to get a tuxedo suit for a wedding In Canada so time being the essence.Initially the staff were helpful, but I was soon abandoned when another party of four gents came in store. Having got my size we had to order suit in to branch. However the assistant said we would have to come back as they could not redirect the suit. My intention was to buy shoes etc but having not had the assistance decided to leave it.We were also told suit would be in within the week. Not being confident in the service I decided to look on line . Not only did we get everything at a lower price and home delivery within three working days. Today some twenty days later the branch rang to say my suit jacket was in to pick up however the trousers could be ordered for home delivery. The suit ordered on line arrived and is perfect which is a shame as I would be leaving a five star review
I am really not happy with this service. I paid for next day delivery as I needed it as for an emergency back up. They came the day after (on the day I needed to use it) so i refused the delivery as it was too late by then. Its been almost three weeks now and I am yet to get my money refunded! I think this is absolutely terrible service as i have called up customer service and still nothing!
I came into store needing a new wardrobe for work. It's been a while since buying new clothes in a store. I needed help finding the right size and fit as I'm done with ordering items online and them not quite fitting right. Thomas was so patient and took his time finding the right shirt and trousers that were the best fit for me. He would find sizes in the store room that weren't out on the shop floor for me also. Perfect shopping experience.
Felt Singled Out and UnwelcomeVisited the Oxford Street store around 5pm on 3rd of july to buy a graduation outfit for my boyfriend. A staff member (woman with braids) was dismissive when we asked for help, and later spoke to us in a passive-aggressive tone about trying on more than two items — something we genuinely didn’t know as she didn't help in the first place.Despite apologizing and offering to put things back, she kept checking on us unnecessarily, while other customers were being helped kindly. We felt completely singled out and unwelcome.My boyfriend left feeling disrespected. We’ve decided to buy online instead. Very disappointing for such an important occasion.
Awful experience, ordered a shirt for in store collection. Get to the store they can’t find it, store wont do anything they done care, simply couldnt care less… 12 days on customer service Adina & Kara doing nothing, store not replying to emails from them, no response from the area manager, they simply do not care. Hiding behind screens, won’t talk to you, barely reply to emails. This worst customer experience I’ve ever had, system shows not collected because the store can’t find it yet I’m £49.95 out of pocket and they just twiddle their thumbs and ignore you
