We recently visited Moss Bros in Greenwich to purchase a suit, and we were fortunate to be assisted by Akshitha. From the moment we entered the store, she was incredibly welcoming and attentive. She patiently guided us through different styles, fits, and combinations, making sure we found exactly what we were looking for. Her professionalism, product knowledge, and genuine care made the entire shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. We truly appreciated her patience and attention to detail, and we left the store feeling very satisfied with our purchase. Colchester store - poor service

I went into the Colchester store today to purchase a suit and shoes, but as I was wearing sandals, they didn’t have any socks to provide, so I could try a shoe on. It may be a small matter, but you’ve just lost a sale as I needed to wear a shoe to confirm the correct measurements of the trouser length.

Moss - not all are the same!

Visited Moss, Southampton looking for a linen wedding suit. I explained that theirs was the first shop I had visited but the service was exemplary. I was served by a Sikh gentleman, whose name I don’t recall; he assisted me in finding suits, trying different sizes, styles and lent me a belt as well. He set aside the suit that I preferred while I went to check out other stores. Subsequently, I went back to Moss reminded myself of their offering versus another that I had tried and he again assisted me showing me an alternative that I had not yet considered.Ultimately I did not purchase from Moss, Southampton but I went back to thank them for their exceptional service. Earlier in the week I had visited Moss, Salisbury, where I encountered shabbily dressed sales staff demonstrating a complete disinterest in serving me. Short of telling me to ‘f., off’ their attitude could not have been poorer. In life there are good and bad everywhere; this appears to hold equally true for Moss!

Shocking Experience

Good afternoon,I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment with the experience I’ve had at your Windsor branch.This was an extremely important order for me — five suits for my wedding in August — and it has ended up being far more stressful than it should have been.To begin on a positive note, the initial ordering and measuring stage went smoothly. However, everything after that point was extremely frustrating and unprofessional.We placed the order three months in advance to ensure there would be enough time for delivery and tailoring. As the event drew nearer, I repeatedly attempted to contact the branch for updates, but calls were never answered. This meant I had to drive 13 miles each way — on four separate occasions — just to get basic information.When we finally booked tailoring appointments, we encountered further confusion. At the time of placing the order, we were clearly told tailoring was included. Yet, during my individual appointment, I was told otherwise. Later, my brother was again told tailoring was included, prompting yet another trip to return mine and have the correct tailoring done — along with suits for two other members of the party.After the suits were finally tailored and sent off, I again received no updates. Three weeks passed without a single phone call. When I did eventually receive an email saying the suits were ready, I made the journey to collect them — only to be told they weren’t ready due to an “archive issue.” Another wasted trip.At that point, I made it very clear that I was flying abroad for my wedding and needed all the suits by Monday, 6th August. I was assured they would be ready at 10 a.m. on the day — only to call and be told they’d need another hour. This suggested the tailoring had only just begun, which did not inspire confidence.To make matters worse, when I collected my own wedding suit, one trouser leg was shorter than the other — a basic error. As of now, some of my groomsmen still haven’t had a chance to try theirs on, and I am genuinely concerned they may not have been altered properly either.Due to the poor quality of the alterations and lack of confidence in your service, I am now taking my own suit to a trusted tailor to ensure it is properly finished — just days before my wedding.While the staff at the branch were polite, the overall experience was extremely disappointing and caused me a great deal of stress and inconvenience. It is clear there is a significant lack of organisation, communication, and consistency in your service.Given the disruption, time wasted, repeated travel, and added stress during what should have been an exciting time, I am requesting a reimbursement or goodwill gesture to reflect the poor service received.I look forward to your response.Kind regards,

Store service is awful

Store service is awful, can't be bothered to serve customers and the tailoring is wrong. Got suit and it was tailored wrong. Online customer service gives attitude. I really hate this place - thousands of pounds spent

Exceptionally person centred customer care! My son was given 1-1 support with good knowledge to answer his questions at every step. Mark’s service was superb and very easy to deal with. With will return to this regardless of the travel.

Charge them back or take them Small Claims. Sold suspected ex rental clothing.

Avoid, the quality of their suits and shirts are not satisfactory for a mid range/upper middle retailer.After light use and a dry clean the stitching of both the suit and shirts started to unravel. Honestly, it looks like I was sold a second hand outfit/ former rental outfit which has been put through its paces. I suspect they do this often judging by the other reviews here.Plenty of complaints about their velvet suits not surviving a dry clean. Shoes falling apart in a month, stitching of shirts unravelling after light use. I advise others here to charge them back or take them to small claims. Their customer service has no intention of doing anything, just delay, deny and defend using technicalities. Despite my extensive complaints and getting nowhere, I had little choice but to initiate a chargeback. Ironically once it went through, I got a message saying there were no records of my complaints. Then it got bad, the level of gaslighting from the customer service agent was quite simply disgusting. Made no attempt to even contest properly just trying to argue procedural technicalities. Like you didn't complain properly despite the fact it was obvious they don't have any intentions of dealing with the complaints. This was proven from the fact there were supposedly no records of my complaints.There seems to be a certain level of evil and sleight of hand from the both store staff and the head office. Where even when they are caught they'll use manipulation tactics to convince you that they are right. There was actually very little of substance in their messages just a whole host of manipulations, accusations of fraud etc. No offense but any reasonable person will recognise that considering I had to travel a long distance to visit the store again, the amount involved simply wasn't worth the travel costs.I advise everyone else to ignore their attempts to mess you around. Give them a few weeks to deal with your problem and then if no resolution go straight to chargeback or small claims. Plenty of other reviewers seem to have had their complaints delayed beyond the charge back deadline deliberately. And then radio silence from customer service.I also know of others personally where this has happened.

Try to shop there how unhelpful the manager was, came across as very rude and arrogant. Most definitely would not advise anyone to go there and shop for a wedding suit .. Stratford Westfield
