I can't comment on the quality of the suitcase - it never arrived. The courier couldn't find the address (Post office and amazon have no issue delivering there). First three emails to MVST were answered 'we have forwarded your query to our shipping department' (as if that solves my issue) and the last three emails have been ignored. Luckily I bought using a credit card so looks like I'll need to do a chargeback.
Sad to report I only used this bag as a carry on 4 times when I opened the clasp and it broke in my hand. The mechanism is just made of plastic and not durable. I have been waiting 4 weeks for support to figure out what to do. The bag is now worthless as it doesn’t close so I have to purchase a new bag for my trip coming up in 2 weeks. Support let me know they are waiting to hear back from their warranty team however looks like a very small company so I’m confused what is taking so long unless their warranty team is a third party. Bad quality for value I would not recommend. For this price point it is better to go with industry leader brands to avoid buying from a company that may disappear on you. Feels like they are not compelled to help here or fix, so I will likely end up tossing this nearly $400 bag in the trash and paid $100 per use. Sad to report as well one of the wheels started acting up on my last trip making the bag less smooth to move around however I have no faith to ask their support for help with this additional issue, simply wanted help with the clasp and yet here we are a month later. No SLA for response has been defined.
I ordered a case and chose the quicker delivery option because I needed it for a trip this cost an extra $111.00so not cheap carrage it said it would arrive on the 7th Junebut as I checked the tracking info it became clear the case hadn't been sent and I got excuses the case had to come from San Fran to Florida to the ukemails went back and forth with excuses and corporate blah blah but no one wanted to helpthe next thing I get an email the order has been cancelled on the 7th 2 days before my trip and im still waiting a refund.........I went and bought another case ( Carl Fredrick ) which was delivered next day delivery from a London company so if you want one of these cases good luck in getting one but foremother reviews it looks like they aren't worth the money so its saved me from a stinker of a product just not from stinking service>>>>>
ive had these cases for 2 months and they build quality is below par for the price of the cases and from several flights the damage is at a point where they look awful to use. My TUI £50 case has held up better then these.upon contacting them I was told that this was expected with these and it happens to all metal suitcases which is a lie as I have a Rimowa which doesn't have any where near the damage as this one and it is nearly 5 years old.upon requesting any sort of refund or return as I'm very unhappy with the product I got completely ignored.
