Terrible is an understatement… horrific…

Terrible is an understatement… horrific service, Mweb is a huge scam, daylight robbery.. for 2 months after joining Mweb , payed for a network I did not have have , it was on off ..after calling countless time they sent a technician to fix the problem, only to be told the guy who connected fiber did not do a good job ..missed a payment, next thing my monthly payment jumped fromR449 to R1690 apparently it’s for early termination which by the way did not request for , when I call to inquire was told if I pay my monthly installment, it will cancel the early termination. Made a payment of R700, next day got an email telling me I need to make a payment of R1914, instead of the amount decreasing, it increased…I call to enquire this amount and why it’s going up … none of the staff could answer me … No communication or what so ever.Now have debt collectors sending me emails. Funny thing had all the communication and all the attempts to try and get assistance on their chat platform, all gone … regret not doing screenshots of the chats.. If anyone has an idea how I can get the previous chats . Pls help. Will never suggest Mweb to anyone not even my enemy .

Extremely poor service

Extremely poor service. Been waiting for router delivery for almost a month. And it is impossible to get a phone call through to their customer service or even log a query in the AI Chat

Mweb doesn’t care

Mweb just does as they please on your account. They don’t respond to complains sent to their complaints mailbox nor on hellopeter. You have to call them and follow them around for feedback on queries. The worst customer service ever and they do not seem to care because if they did they’d respond to complaints and apologise when they mess up! I would never recommend them to anyone ever again and I hope those I’ve mentioned Mweb to, haven’t already taken up their services.

I fully agree with Romeo

I fully agree with Romeo. Mweb is very efficient when on-boarding you but useless on providing customer care. You will definetly exhaust your airtime trying to call them, their app is worse, nothing useful on their livechat. Bad attitude from call centre consultants etc.

Disgraceful service

Terrible service. I attempted to place an order with Mweb, there was incredible delays migrating the fibre line. I tried to call for updates as the app was displaying incorrect information. The app chat was unusable, the phone queues were unbearable. After half a day of trying multiple times I finally got through and was told that the app's information was incorrect and they were waiting for the line to be migrated and would escalate. There was no feedback, so I decided to cancel and again assured this would be marked as urgent. However, no cancellation was requested with Vumatel and the cancellation was not logged properly, so the line was activated. I called back three times (after the courier tried to deliver a router!) and after speaking to several people was not helped. No one was able to put me through directly to a manager, and no one could put be through directly to complaints. I was told the line could not be cancelled. Finally, the last lady was helpful and assured me they would cancel the line, and I should be notified in several hours. Hoping that they can undo their mess so I can finally start with an ISP that is functional.

If I could give them no stars I would...AVOID AVOID AVOIDMweb has given me every issue under the sun which I don't feel like typing out but heaven help you if you move house, be prepared to be without wifi for at least 3 weeks (but best believe they will still charge you). Also, they like to cancel your account through no instruction of your own, and then charge you an early termination fee. I literally cried on the phone to them (after being on hold for 80 minutes) because I was so frustrated, only for the call to get cut. If there was an award for the worst customer service on the planet, MWEB would win with flying colours.STAY AWAY

The most useless service provider in…

The most useless service provider in the country. I have regretted choosing them. Good at collecting money but extremely poor at support. They can play music for you until your R500 airtime is finished without any help. Some one needs to report this people.
