MWEB ARE USELESS AND INCOMPETENT

MWEB ARE USELESS AND INCOMPETENTI had MWeb LTE with their "free to use" router for a while, but I was unhappy with the line speed I was receiving and Mweb's price increase for what I was getting, so I cancelled my service and returned the "free to use" router on 25 March 2025, via courier, to the address which MWeb provided to me. On 24 May 2025, I received a statement from MWeb reflecting that I now owed R1650 for the router (which I had already returned via Postnet, in March 2025). I submitted an email to MWeb and received a returned email with the reference number MWB31337078 stating that I would be contacted within 24 - 48 hours. To date I have still not been contacted and I am still receiving statements from MWeb stating that I still owe them for the router. This is reflecting badly on my credit score and if MWeb don't fix this with immediate effect, I will take this matter to the Consumer Ombudsman

Close your business MWEBAbsolutely horrible service,from February 2025 till today,mweb keep debiting my account,no internet till today,between mweb and frogfoot,Absolutely ********** service,wasted over R1000 on airtime calling mweb who only after10-15mins to answer,then the tech dept say they can't make outgoing calls,just close the business,both mweb and frogfoot,waste of time and energy

Mweb is an absolute nightmare

Calling Mweb is an absolute nightmare! It takes forever for them to answer the damn phone, and when they finally do, the service is beyond pathetic. Not a single agent can give a straight answer to even the simplest question—it's like talking to a bunch of clueless robots!I recently switched ISPs, and let me tell you, moving to Mweb was the biggest mistake I could’ve made. There has been ZERO communication from them regarding my order. I have to call every single day, only to be told my order is “stuck” in their system. And guess what? They need to contact Vumatel to activate it. But do they actually do it? Of course not! It’s a complete joke—one giant, disorganized circus!And don't even get me started on the call process. After waiting endlessly, they still have the audacity to ask for my details—what’s the point of entering my ID or phone number followed by a hash if they’re just going to ask for it again?! Then, after all that nonsense, they put me on hold for another ten minutes before the call just drops. And the worst part? I have to start this ridiculous process all over again. Absolute incompetence!

I just want to say thank you to thaabiet from technical deprtment and fatima from sales department who assisted me, with helping me to reconnect my wifi, mweb needs more people like you, truly geniune quick response & outstanding service from them, after struggling for two weeks... much appreciated may Allah bless and reward use🤲🏼

Shocking Service

I’ve been an MWeb account holder since 1997, but their service has deteriorated to an appalling level They overcharged me by a substantial amount several months ago, and reaching their billing department is impossible. Every call gets cut off with a message saying, “We cannot take your call right now, please call back later.”After repeated failed attempts, I had to resort to calling their sales department just to speak to someone with the hope they'd put me through to Billing. No success!

They have rubbish customer service agents and they over charged me several times.if you want to be annoyed or frustrated every month use Mweb services.

R3218 debited from my account and I don't even have internet! Missing plug, reported to technical department and nobody has come around. CREDIT ME ASAP!!! Can't complain about the service as there is none. Dispicable

Pathetic customer service from Mweb

In fact I just clicked on a star to be able to write this review,Please do not use Mweb at all, the most pathetic customer service. An illegal immigrant was sent to do my installation with no extension cord and other tools. He damaged my property and broke my celinig. Then the network is pathetic. I call them atleast 2 to 3 times a day, always get told someone will call me but no one does. Please use your rights as per the consumer protection act and do not pay them. Go to the bank and put a stop order against the debit order. Only if we don't pay will they listen to us

They don’t even deserve a single Star

They don’t even deserve a single Star. This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced my whole life. There I’ve been struggling with the same issue since 16.02.2025. Still nothing has been done yet they have successfully deducted money from my account. They are nothing but scammers!
