Review Time
I received an electronic prepaid MasterCard via email as part of a data breach settlement. A block was put on the card and I was unable to activate or use it. I called the customer service number multiple times and they still could not get the card activated. Customer service keeps giving me the run around without any explanation as to why this simple task cannot be successfully completed. I wasted so much time on the phone with them in trying to get this resolved that I’m starting to think this is a scam to frustrate people in order to keep their money.
I received a $100.00 VISA Gift-Card from Goodyear after acquiring a set of tires for my Audi. I gave it to my daughter (13) so she can buy stuff when she wanted after showing much responsability at home and school. As a 13th year old, her expenses are mostly none and found that the card expired losing $80ish. How I can explain a kid that she lost her money?True, I should have kept an eye on it since I am the adult but I have better things to do that checking that Gift cards expire in these days. Received 2 prepaid Mastercard digital gift cards and have had nothing but problems. The site constantly signs you out, and you need a verification code to log back in. Unable to add cards to Apple Pay even though they give instructions on how to do so. Downloaded their wallet app, but now the option for adding to digital wallet is gone. Was declined for use on Amazon multiple times. It appears the only way to contact myprepaidcenter is to vent your frustration here and hope they send you a contact link. I never thought getting a gift card could be so frustrating.**Update 4/5/25**I was promptly contacted by customer service asking for more information to "resolve" this issue. Gave them my info and was told to wait up to 48 hours for a response. 2 weeks later...nothing. I have sent 3 follow up emails to the agents with no replies.
I got THREE of these from Mistplay, none of them work, not even in the locations listed on their website. So I just have $50 in worthless cards because this company is scummy. I wouldn't shop or eat at any of their "partnered" locations anyway so what is the point of this card and this company?! Can't add it to paypal can't do anything with it, even my physical one I got in the mail is useless! This is so stupid, what a crappy thing to do to people.
I just activated my prepaid mastercard card (physical) which we received as a bonus for switching Internet to Quantum and tried making a purchase online and it will not go through. I come here and find all these bad reviews saying other people can't use their card either. I will be contacting Quantum to complain.
