If there were a negative number to rate this company, I don't think it would be on the chart. What a waste of my my Fetch points. I was hoping to use this card to help get through a difficult time and they cannot be used online. Then, if I wanted a physical card, they would charge a $10 fee per card. How can you fix this one? How about 2 checks for $50 each to make up for your 2 BS cards!
I received a virtual card from myprepaidcenter and their website will not allow me to activate it.The only message I get is to go back to the original email and proceed from there. I have done this several times and the same message. There is no customer support and no way of getting any customer support. This has been a very frustrating endeavor. What happens to the funds when the site will not allow a customer to activate their card?Additional informationrequested by myprepaid center:I redeemed my card in early January and tried to use it about a week later and it was declined. Tried using it a few days later and again declined. Then I tried to figure out why it was not being accepted. There is no way provided on myprepaidcard to contact anybody for help.Being new to virtual cards I did not know they had to be activated as this was not conveyed to me in the original email or on the welcome screen of your site. After redeeming the card I never saw any indication the card had to be activated. I finally found it in the FAQ section and all it stated was reference the original email that was sent. The original email never provided instructions about activating a card and informing the customer they had to. On January 22 or 23 I tried to activate the card 4 or 5 times and it failed each time.I tried again on January 24 with the same result. When I get to the welcome screen I click on the “I have a card” icon and input the card data. Each time I get the following the message “Sorry, we can't activate that card. Please try again. If you have already activated your card and created a profile, please log in to view your balance, or if you have received a virtual card, go back to the email you received after the card activation and use the link provided.”On January 25 I tried to activate the card and received the same message. Also this time in very small print I see “select this option to activate your card.”update and resultAfter about 6 back and forth emails I was finally notified that they had found my card and it was ready to use and they closed my concern. There was no info given on what I had to do, no reason given as to why I received the error when trying to activate my card and my case was closed. I was left in la la land.I responded with more questions and asked what I had to do to get a plastic card. Questions went unanswered but they agreed to send a plastic card which I recieved afound Feb 6.During this back and forth I never learned anything about the paper or "virtual card" or how to use. All I was told was it is ready to use where mastercard was accepted and to use a merchant that accepted more than one form of payment if my card would not cover the entire purchase. My recommendation is to request a plastic card as soon as you can.
Very disappointed with this company, I received the card by email and I activated but it’s not working when I’m trying to purchase something online and it’s not letting me add it to my Apple Pay. I don’t know what the reason is, there is no one to speak to and no email address to contact the company. Just ridiculous how this company works
I have every reason to suspect this company is a SCAM BUSINESS !!! I recently acquired a virtual prepaid MasterCard from them, which absolutely does not work! I’ve tried various platforms, which they claim it should work: Apple Pay, Google Pay, and then making payments via some other respectable payment processors which are worldwide: PayPal, Amazon, Aliexpress, Temu. EVERY-SINGLE-ONE of these REJECTED THE CARD. Customer service of Pathward, N.A. who are listed on the card as issuer has directed me to MyPrepaidCentre where I hold my account. Customer service of MyPrepaidCentre is NON-RESPONSIVE via email and telephone. I have screenshot proof of card not working on various platforms and of their claims it should work. I would attach here If I could.I just want my card to work or my money back!!! I guess they are ignoring me until the card expires so they can claim I haven’t used it within the expiry date. Shameful!
By far the worst company I have ever felt with. I received this card from my cellphone company as a credit for a phone return. Every time I attempt to use it the card becomes blocked. I call and it gets reactivated. I finally made a successful purchase of nearly $600 on it, but unfortunately the product had to be returned. It has been a month since the product was returned and the credit issued by the store. It has not been released by myprepaidcenter back to my card. I have called multiple times. This is a $600 item. Nice that they put an expiration on the card in two months but won’t let you use it. Seems like they are attempting to steal $700. Terrible service. DO NOT RECOMMEND
I will never get it again. You can't get someone on the phone, and the options by the automated system suck, as they don't give you the option to see why the card is declined. It was declined several times, resulting in $100 wasted and unusable. I understand that fraud is common in your company, but this is a 100% guaranteed service that will lose my business in the foreseeable future.
I have used over 10 gift cards with these guys with usually very few hiccups (some websites wont accept). I have 4 different cards left with a balance over $1000 and all of a sudden none of them will work. no way to contact customer service. seems like a scam. EDIT: 1 week later I have received no contact from myprepaidcentre and my money is still inaccessible. Use caution with this company.
This company is trash and run by sleezy people with sleezy practices . This is what happens when scammers get a card company in my opinion. If you don’t use your prepaid card for a short amount of time , their company just starts taking money from it until the balance is gone! What??? How is that even legal. And good luck trying to get ahold of anyone, they are all hiding in their scam center (allegedly).
