Absolutely appalling! Paid £80 to get my son and myself to a funeral in Chiswick (from Lewes) today. Last minute cancellations made a mess of the whole journey. It makes a mockery of the modern worlds constant health and safety and risk assessments! As businesses-we all have to spend a lot of time and money on getting this right un yet this very large company are allowed to put people under enormous dangerous personal pressure, make them have to run where it is not safe, to make connections and cause exits to be blocked by passengers and their luggage (especially at Gatwick) because there are not enough trains. What happens if there is a fire or a need to evacuate?! We should be encouraged to use public transport not make it almost impossible. Disgusting!
Thanks to selfish individuals in the train industry I have missed a funeral due to take place when your striking you get paid far too much as it is for a poor service anyway your an absolute joke all of you who strike and work in rail industry should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves no wonder no one likes you selfish overpaid lazy people and we pay too much for all our tickets.

I went from theobords grove In cheshunt to hamstead Heath . I was apprehensive as I have not been on this journey for years and forgot the best way to travel . you hear scare mongering stories of disruptions of service & people. The wonderful helpful staff & travellers who made my journey effortless . A special thank you to Abdul at theobords & the lovely staff at hamstead . Didn’t get your name keep up the great work .

Twice this week the 5.03pm train from Broadgreen to Lime street station has been cancelled so I have had to wait 45 minutes( in the pouring rain today) A mother and her young son also had to wait and she was desperately trying to keep him warm. 2 trains flew by though. When I tried to mention it to the ticket office at lime street I was first told I was wrong, then told they only deal with trains going out. WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO DO, TRAVEL TO MANCHESTER TO PUT A COMPLAINT IN?? Its your company. Shocking customer service. Not that anyone will care about this review.
