I am a regular commuter who relies on the railway for my travel needs. Unfortunately, my recent experience was nothing short of frustrating. Despite the consistently high prices, the service is plagued by delays and inconveniences. Let me share the details of my last journey, which turned out to be the worst one yet.On this particular trip, I was burdened with a large and heavy suitcase. After paying the exorbitant ticket price, I expected a smooth journey. However, my expectations were shattered. The train departing from London Euston was predictably late, causing unnecessary stress. But what truly baffled me was the subsequent leg of my journey. The connecting train was surprisingly punctual, yet it departed before we even arrived at the platform. As a result, not only were we late reaching our destination, but we also had to endure a frustrating 1.5-hour wait for the next available train.The railway management’s lack of consideration for passengers is evident. Despite the hefty ticket fees, they seem indifferent to the inconvenience caused. It’s disheartening to see such disregard for customer satisfaction. I sincerely hope they address these issues promptly and prioritize the well-being of their passengers.
Booked tickets for 4 adults age 53'54'79' and 82 the two are disabled. From Cardiff to Tamworth.Direct train. Train was cancelled. We had to go to Bristol then Birmingham then nuneaton then Tamworth.we ended up getting home . At 11.30 pm.The train service isn't fit for purpose.Never again.

Absolutely appalling! Paid £80 to get my son and myself to a funeral in Chiswick (from Lewes) today. Last minute cancellations made a mess of the whole journey. It makes a mockery of the modern worlds constant health and safety and risk assessments! As businesses-we all have to spend a lot of time and money on getting this right un yet this very large company are allowed to put people under enormous dangerous personal pressure, make them have to run where it is not safe, to make connections and cause exits to be blocked by passengers and their luggage (especially at Gatwick) because there are not enough trains. What happens if there is a fire or a need to evacuate?! We should be encouraged to use public transport not make it almost impossible. Disgusting!
