We travel to Blackpool mostly every month and I think once the journey ran smoothly. Recently, we purchased tickets and for the return dates for the 20th of June. Every train journey there was cancelled and we got as far as Preston then had to find alternative transport. This wasn't the only issue, on the journey home our tickets were deemed invalid with the cost to myself, having to pay for the same journey due to their bad service. There customer service is foul. I have already made a complaint with them and done a visa dispute on both transactions. Ten to twenty days wait for a reply is not good enough. They didn't provide a full service and knew the train had been cancelled prior to selling. That is ripping the public off. They are foul

I've had the misfortune to use the UK's train network frequency over the the last two months covering hundreds of miles.One star is reserved for the worst service/performance. I am a regular commuter who relies on the railway for my travel needs. Unfortunately, my recent experience was nothing short of frustrating. Despite the consistently high prices, the service is plagued by delays and inconveniences. Let me share the details of my last journey, which turned out to be the worst one yet.On this particular trip, I was burdened with a large and heavy suitcase. After paying the exorbitant ticket price, I expected a smooth journey. However, my expectations were shattered. The train departing from London Euston was predictably late, causing unnecessary stress. But what truly baffled me was the subsequent leg of my journey. The connecting train was surprisingly punctual, yet it departed before we even arrived at the platform. As a result, not only were we late reaching our destination, but we also had to endure a frustrating 1.5-hour wait for the next available train.The railway management’s lack of consideration for passengers is evident. Despite the hefty ticket fees, they seem indifferent to the inconvenience caused. It’s disheartening to see such disregard for customer satisfaction. I sincerely hope they address these issues promptly and prioritize the well-being of their passengers.
