Where is my money?

ISA matured a week ago but yet to be transferred to new institution. I was lied to when they said it had been transferred on the day of maturity because the online account showed it sitting there. My online account is now shut down and I can't access it. Do they deliver my money by hand? I can't think of any other explanation. They cannot compete with the big boys, so it is best to avoid them.
