Nightmare Communication

Dealing with the local office has been a nightmare due to extremely slow and poor communication. They rarely respond, forcing me to chase them repeatedly for updates, only to receive vague replies. A frustrating experience overall.

It has taken numerous calls just to schedule a viewing for a property. Is there a lack of interest in selling? After several attempts for a callback, I received no feedback. Not a professional approach.

Newton Fallowell Mansfield.If you’re renting, don’t even bother trying. You can tell that it’s a hassle for them and they’d rather not be showing people around or booking viewings for rental properties. I’ve been enquiring with this team about flats for a good few weeks. Explaining my situation, providing all details they require, hitting all criteria regarding rental rules etc. I finally got a viewing for a property that I really liked. Completely affordable, I was a single tenant, perfect references, working professional, don’t smoke, no kids. No pets. Was the first to view. Said I’d take it, and I was determined in my offer and questions regarding how we proceed. She told me to email the person who booked the viewing. I said “it was you” and she proceeded to tell me to email her and it will go straight through to the office (even though she’d told me she was off the next day) how is an email directed to her specifically going to get read. I did what she said. I called in today and was told the property had gone. No call, no communication. It was so easy to figure out that actually my interest, emails and offer weren’t even communicated with the landlord because it had gone the day that the lady wasn’t even in work. Why wouldn’t you not say “I’m not in tomorrow so email blah blah” considering she knew I didn’t want to lose it. And I bet you, they get some right dosser in the property. And people wonder why renting is in such a mess. Newton Fallowell try so hard to pretend they’re all relaxed and different. No stress. I don’t think that’s the case, I think they’re just incompetent and unorganised.

Complaint Escalated

We had a deeply disappointing experience with Newton Fallowell Syston in Leicester . We felt pressured to accept a reduced offer and received repeated calls to my wife despite raising concerns. One agent even messaged us saying we’d “lose a lot more” if we didn’t accept an offer — and demanded we apologise to another staff member. We’ve raised this with Head Office and The Property Ombudsman. bought a house from them

bought a house from them. they claimed they had the keys. when i went to their office to collect them ( a visit made by appointment) the keys were not there. almost a month later i have no keys. I cant get into their office- it is 200 miles away from me- and they refuse to leave the keys at the property or to post them.said its not their probem. completely shameful bunch at brigg, lincs. avoid at alll costs.

Newton Fallowell peterborough do not…

Newton Fallowell peterborough do not get back to you with any enquiries you make regarding a property. I have been chasing them for over 2 weeks for a viewing but they are not responding. Poor seller who thinks newton fallowell are marketing their property, do not know they don't get back to people interested in their property. I would not want to sell through them
