I travelled up from Essex to the Grantham branch to view a flat in Albert Street. The agent was late because he was waiting at the wrong property. I finally got access to find I'd been booked in to view the wrong address. Good job it was only £60 return.Not much of a wasted day then. I got the distinct impression they thought I was below their station. Even the estate agent who sold my property got a frosty reception. Incompetent.

Market Deeping Branch: never answer the phone, it always transfers to someone at another branch who knows nothing about the property you're enquiring about, takes your number says the branch will call you back - never do. Got through after trying numerous times every day - they must have been waiting for a call from their local takeaway or something and answered by mistake, asked them for some information from the Vendor - usual brush off - will find out and get back to me - still waiting for the call that's never gunna happen. Just what are Vendors paying them for cuz they aint never gonna sell their house for them with zero effort.

Minimal effort agents,

Happy to manage my property for 10 years yet sadly when the tenants move out Newton’s failed to notice they left drugs in the garden, paint on the carpet & windows, took a curtain pole & left broken lights. No customer service, simply do not care.Claire & her team in sleaford should hang their heads in shame (but it would be too much effort)

We rented through Newton Fallowell in Bingham for just over 3 years. During this time we had inspections every 3 months to confirm the property was being kept in good condition.Upon ending the tenancy and moving Newton Fallowell and the landlord decided that the carpet needed replacing and the walls redecorating. This ended up being to the value of £960, £10 more than the deposit! Bearing in mind that both the carpet and paint were not fresh when we took on the tenancy.After lengthy conversations with Newton Fallowell and taking advice from other letting agents we came to the conclusion that this was totally unjustified as the condition was not as bad as was being made out and we had already spent over £100 having the carpets professionally cleaned.Today we had the decision from the deposit protection scheme that also concluded they were trying to take way too much off us and that there was only fair wear and tear to be accounted for. The outcome now is that a contributuon of £190 towards patching up already used paint and carpet is fair as apposed to the £960 we were going to lose.Be very careful renting through Newton Fallowell as they take the side of the landlord and have been VERY one sided with this decision and way too sure of themselves. Letting agents are not experts in the state of property and the landlords do need to expect wear or a property over years of normal everyday use as being a landlord myself know from experience.A very sad end to a tenancy and a waste of time and effort for £190 when the property was obviously fine and re let / removed from the web within weeks of us moving out and the same carpets still being down in the condition we left them in. Sadly seems to be another case of see what we can get out of someone even after having 3 years and 2 months rent totalling £32,300.I won't be recommending anyone who wants to rent to Newton Fallowell with there total lack of support for the tenant and even after a lot of discussions not admitting that they were wrong to try and charge the whole deposit.

NEWTON FALLOWELL GRANTHAM - Would like to thank this store in relation to moving into our new house. We had very difficult, incompetent seller who probably could wipe her backside on her own. However NEWTON FALLOWELL bent over backwards to assist us and nothing we asked of them was too difficult.I would have no reservations in recommended this company. Great Estate Agents!

Delighted to sell my house and buy my new house, both with Newton Fallowell at Leicester Forest East. They were a breath of fresh air compared to all the other estate agents I dealt with. They offered a really personal service and took the time to understand exactly what kind of property I was looking for. Tom was fantastic, always there when needed and professional throughout. Absolutely shocking customer service …

Absolutely shocking customer service from Zak and Tom at Newton Fallowell Leicester forest east branch, viewed a property on park drive and both were very rude and clearly didn't want to be there but we loved the property and wanted to rent it and after a lot of emails and phonecalls over a 3 week period we could not get a straight answer from them being fobbed off with sorry were on annual leave to we'll call you back today with an answer and then being told the rent price was increasing and that they couldn't get hold of the landlord to go ahead!! It was just a nightmare and would not deal with them again..
