Review Time
I joined Nielsen in December 2023, I have been scanning everything I buy, from offline and online purchases. To be honest, I probably scan in purchases 3-4 times per week.My points have been building nicely, then I opened their smartphone app to scan in a couple of online purchases that were delivered today to find they have taken nearly 2000 points away from my balance, why?My total was 4900 yesterday, and now it is 3190, why the discrepancy, why have the points been removed, what reason? I have received no email or any notification via their app as to why they have wiped out some of my points balance. I am not happy about it at all.That is not the behaviour of a reputable company, is it? It also makes me feel dubious to carry on with them if this is what they do.No doubt, I will receive some wishy-washy reply that won't help at all and won't reinstate the points either.
I filled in a chocolate diary in February I was supposed to get an incentive which i never received I contacted several Nielsens to be told it was nothing to do with them. I also contacted ViziT who is owned by NIQ Only reply I received was we’ve got your message A total waste of my time Hope this gets sorted out at last10 august no one has come back to meNOVEMBER AND THE PROMISE TO COME BACK TO ME WAS NOT KEPT SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE
I joined them a long time ago. When I was using the machine they sent me, I had occasional problems but they were fast with informing me about it so I resolved it by reading things.Now that they switched to the phone system, everything went all over the place. I wrote down I would be away in November and then added I'll be away from December onwards. I came back and checked the system in January and I was no longer a member. Apparently, they said they tried to reach me which is not even close to how they'd try to reach me in the past.They closed my account and said that I cannot take my points anymore as it is past 90 days after my account being closed. I wasted months of my life to scan items for them and this is what I get. I understand the fact they did not like there were no scans on the app or, apparently information about when I was away, but I added it so it is an issue of their app. Not my problem.Please know it might not be worth wasting your time with them. I am extremely disappointed with them. They would not even let me use my earned points.... Edit 5 April 2024;I confirm that I filled the app to add my absence dates for November and December. I have no idea why but they system was not updated. This has happened before and your colleagues had called me to get me to re add information.Your colleague called me 2 or 3 days ago to tell me that my points were re added to my account and I have 90 days from the day of the call to get them. I'll log into the system in the end of this month to check on this.Update 03may2024I'm still disappointed they removed me from the panel due to app issues at a period I was frequently travelling but at least they reached out to me by phone to let me know I can use my points . I managed to do this today. Due to this, I have raised the stars from 1 to 3. I would have put 3.5 if I could but the stress caused to me would not allow for a 4. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to not lose the points.
The company closed my account without a satisfactory explanation... I'm completely in the dark about their expectations. I was open to learn and improve the data input, but the company appeared to be adamant in their decision.
Never in my life have i EVER hated the fact that any FAKE COMPANY has tried to continue to get their SCAMS out there harder and bigger jus because of MY OWN IMPACT OF EXPOSURE TO potential future SCAMMERS!Understand, I do this to help others so other people have no need to go through the whole rigmarole of what comes from applying to such innocent seeming institutions. I applied with these to test the theory as I usually do.Then i relentlessly got 3x CALLS each day afterwards from FAKE FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS!They are LITERALLY in my opinion ARE JUST A DATA COLLECTION SCAMMER SO THEY CAN GET U ON THEIR DATABASES AS IF THEY KNOW WHO U ARE. I used False Information like NAME and EMAIL ADDRESS also maybe a “real number” that u hold to receive the calls from (a disposable unused sim is my preference) Then sat back and watched the drama unfold. THE FINANCIAL PEOPLE CALLED ME THE EXACT SAME NAME I FAKED WHEN MAKING THE ACCOUNT WITH THESE RIDICULOUS PEOPLE. So. To conclude.IVE NOTICED SINCE EXPOSURE OF THEIR LOGISTICS ON FACEBOOK -BY MYSELF.THAT THEIR STATS ON HERE HAVE BOOMED UP TO 31%minority AS OPPOSED TO THE PRIOR 25% IT HELD BEFORE WITH 5⭐️ REVIEWS. Dodgy experience I.M.O.The financial institutions tried asking me if i would like to BUY an I.S.A. for ‘children’, but banks actually pay us in their offering of hundreds of pounds sometimes just to switch.So that approach alone is dodgy as heck (in my opinion)PLEASE DON’T BE FOOLED GUYS. THESE GUYS ARE TRIPPING THEMSELVES UP.THEY’RE SOOOOO OBVIOUS. SCAMMERS ARE SOOOOO EASILY LEAD so r EASY TO WORK OUT - IF UR CAREFUL IN HOW U CONDUCT YOURSELF TO TEST THE WATER (so to speak)Take care with the online world people and keep yourselves safe. Here is my response to nielsenIQs reply to me. Look. I have reached out many times and ur attempts to scam me got worse. Stop pretending ur a legitimate company. That by the way we all have absolute ability to check out through registration of companies through checking what ur revenues r and what ur registered company number is. How much tax u pay (or dont pay in your case) and much more information is available on u. Stop with your lies and deceit. Just be a real & honest company 🤦♂️
Been with them for years , I've gotten some beautiful gifts for my points over the years. When the site was updated there were a few problems as you'd expect with updates but nothing that couldn't be sorted with a few easy steps. Glad I joined.
Would give 0 stars if I could. Scanned for over 10 weeks and went to redeem points but accessing the rewards section is impossible. Asked to change password, sends a one time code, asks to enter password 2 times but the second box is greyed out, so can't complete this step. Never get a response from support and tells me my account doesn't exist, but more than capable of messaging me every week. No way to close account or remove phone number either. I'll stick to Shop&Scan, been using that for 3 years with no issues at all.
