Review Time
I sincerely wish I'd filtered for 1* reviews before ordering in the Black Friday Sale. Money paid for two packs of 5 pairs of socks and confirmation email but since then nothing. In the FAQ it states shipping up to 5 days but that's after the goods have left their warehouse and 'delays may occur' in dispatch. What a scam. No way to cancel the order. I also wish I'd read the care instructions before buying. Who can find the space to dry all their socks flat?!! Won't order again.
Will take your money but will never ship the order. Either a supply chain issue or they are accepting money for items that don’t exist. No refunds offered, no suggested timeline for when the order could ship (it’s already been over 30 days), and getting any response from customer service is like pulling teeth out. Stay away. Veronica, I’m unable to reply to your comment, so I’ll just edit it into my post. I’ve emailed you personally but I’ve also already emailed the customer service department 8 times, the only response I ever received was someone dragging their feet for more time by saying “let me look into it”. I sent all the order status details in each email so they had all the details already, and no reason not to just process my request for a refund since the order STILL has not shipped.
Bought again for my daughter and her partner, previously bought 5 pairs each 3 years ago, they are washed and tumble dryed frequently and still going strong. Decided to buy them more in Christmas offer in a different design. The quality is superb and they both say extremely warm.Wanted to buy a single pair after order for a secret Santa present, couldn't be added to my order, but was sent a free postage code for new order. AMAZING SOCKS and brilliant customer service.
I bought the over knee socks on black Friday sale, and they are very warm and soft. But I would appreciate them being a little wider on the calf area, because they stretch out and start looking stripy and not so pretty. And I'm average weight on the thinner side, so they will only look like in the promo photos on somebody who is really really thin.
They really messed up my order. I purchased 4 different sets, all of which appeared available on their website at the time of purchase. They sent only one pack and apologised for the other 3 being out of stock, reassuring me they will dispatch them within two weeks. After about 10 days I enquired of the progres of the rest of the order and I was asked to be patient. Another 5 days down the line and another email, they said that my order has been delivered and sent a photo evidence of that one pack being delivered. In the end they asked me to choose alternative 3 sets in stock, which i did. That was 3 days ago and I haven't heard anything yet.
I’ve placed previous orders with Nordic Socks and been happy with the goods, but now I’ve experienced their customer service dealing with faulty merchandise I will not be ordering from them again. One sock from my most recent order developed a hole the first time it was worn so a replacement was requested. Because the sock was bought in a pack of two pairs, Nordic are refusing to replace - apparently it’s impossible to open a pack of socks, extract one pair and send them to me. They cannot or will not explain why this is impossible. They also cannot or will not explain why they can’t replace the entire pack, though they were offered the whole pack back, obviously at their expense. Judging by this “process says no” response and the way their emails ignore points I’ve made, I’m not even sure that their emails are written by a human - they could be AI generated for all the help they give. When I asked for confirmation that a refund would be half the cost of the pack (£12.99 in the Black Friday sale) I was told £5.50 would be refunded so they aren’t even offering to refund the full cost of the faulty pair.
I ordered a set of 5 socks in November. The socks are poor quality (they feel like plastic) with major manufacturing faults eg dropped stitches, elastic stitching on the outside of the socks, wonky seams, pattern errors. I sent photographs to customer services who agreed that the socks have manufacturing faults.Under UK and EU consumer law, businesses are required to offer a full refund and pay the return costs of faulty goods, if they wish for the goods to be returned. Over a month and many emails later, customer service are still refusing to agree to refund the cost of return… They will only offer a credit voucher to buy more of their poor quality socks, in breach of the law. I don’t know why they even want them returned, given that they agree from photos that the socks are faulty. I can guess…I have repeatedly asked why they are refusing to comply with UK and EU law. Maybe they will answer that question here? Please don’t fob me off and suggest continuing the conversation by email. Please answer that question here.
