Update 07/17/2025 The items were delivered! I wish this would’ve happened a month ago, but I’m grateful that I finally received them. Thank you!Update 07/09/2025 My items have been reordered by NURECOVER, so I will see if they get delivered this time. I have a Nurecover Ice Bath that I ordered a new cover and storage bag for on May 27,2025. As of today, July 4, I still have not received my order and can get ZERO response from Customer Service!!! I do not recommend at all….lesson learned.
My journey with the Nurecover Tropical Pro portable steam and sauna has been a bit of a mixed bag, particularly concerning the ordering process, but ultimately, the product itself has proven to be a winner.On the delivery front, the shipping was punctual for the initial part of my order. However, I was left in the dark when the sauna itself arrived separately and later, with absolutely no communication or tracking update to explain the delay or split shipment. This was a definite point of frustration and something Nurecover could significantly improve upon.Another slight disappointment came with their promotional offers. I'd taken advantage of a 50% off deal, only to find that the very next day, they added a free ice bath to the same offer. I promptly reached out, hoping to simply have the ice bath added to my existing order to avoid the hassle of returning and reordering, but was met with a blunt "it couldn't be done." While I understand policy, a little flexibility in such a scenario would have gone a long way in enhancing the customer experience.Despite these hiccups, the Nurecover Tropical Pro portable steam and sauna unit itself is genuinely great. Setting it up was a breeze – it's intuitive and doesn't require any complicated assembly. More importantly, it's incredibly easy to use, making it a convenient addition to a daily routine. The most crucial aspect, the heat, is where it truly shines. It provides a robust and consistent heat that effectively replicates the experience of a traditional steam room, delivering that deep, penetrating warmth I was looking for.In summary, while Nurecover's logistical and customer service aspects could use refinement, the Tropical Pro portable steam and sauna unit itself is a fantastic product that delivers on its core promise of a convenient and effective at-home steam experience.
If I could give this 0 stars I would. Not only is this product so cheaply made, this company should be sued for false advertisement. The dry heater is purchased which is specifically marketed to be able to reach 180 degrees Fahrenheit only reaches 135 degrees if I'm lucky. ALSO this heaters thermostat only goes up to 158 degrees. Complete and false statements. Save your money and time and get something else. I'd recommend the saunapod.
I purchased the ceramic heater, and all the vertical support poles warped on the first use. I have used the steam heater and although they claim a max temp of 150, it will no go past 120. They also claim the ceramic heater will get up to 185, i cant get it past 140. When I reached out to them they claim the temps they claim are at the output of the heaters not the ambient temp in the sauna, talk about bait and switch. They also will not allow me to return the sauna since it has been used. As soon as i started mentioning a refund to the agent i was chatting with on their site, they went radio silent and I cannot get them to respond. Horrible product and falsely marketed, do not buy!
Got a aftermarket steamer with larger capacity, and had to track down my own chemicals for treating the cold plunge. The sauna itself is ok but kinda small. If I was any bigger of a guy It’d be a problem. So all around good start but not enough.
