Review Time
I had the same issue as “Negative reviews had me concerned at first …” with nearly the same dates. A false HH hot water error. CS was not able to provide a full manual or troubleshoot the problem so they sent a replacement chiller that works great. I’m happy to be back to regular plunging.
My chiller started leaking water and was not working. I did all the trouble shooting techniques suggested and nothing worked. I emailed customer support and within days I received a replacement chiller. I could not believe the fast turn around. My customer service rep was Charlie and he was very courteous and understanding of my situation. I have never had a better customer service experience then this. Charlie is awesome and I would recommend Nuvio to all my friends and anyone who asks me about them. I have already had 3 of my friends purchase the Nuvio chiller. Thank you Nuvio!
My chiller began reading temperatures inconsistent with the actual water temperature. The water temperature was perfect at 42-43 degrees but my chiller would show the water temperature at anywhere from 48-100 degrees. As time went on the readings kept getting higher and higher. Victoria was very helpful giving me troubleshooting solutions from the technicians; however, nothing corrected the issue. The chiller continued to chill my water but would display a water temperature much higher than the actual water temperature in the tub. Nuvio has sent me a replacement and I hope to receive it soon.
Super frustrated customer. Not having phone support for this type of product is a major business error. I will state that the chiller itself has been working as it should. Here’s our two major issues:1. We never received the promo for the free tub with the chiller as advertised at time of purchase. My husband misunderstood my frustration for the missing tub and placed an order for one separately not realizing I meant it was supposed to be included on the promo. He told me to contact the company for a return or tub refund and here I am a week later troubleshooting with the help desk who is having a really hard time understanding the issue. 2. As we explore the functions of the touchscreen we notice thee buttons do not consistently read a point of contact so it takes multiple long presses sometimes with no result, seems hit or miss. Working this touchscreen display there are different program modes BUT no access to a long form manual to explain the multiple modes. Help desk sent me the basic set up manuals and one minute set up video but these do not include details at all. We are looking for a legit booklet manual. No luck linking to the manuals on the site either-sends me back their menu page or the product page.Help desk via text and email has been trying their best to find the right instructions and solutions. I do not blame them at all since these are mainly product development and spec issues. I do hope they find any program mode directions though. These resolutions could have been a ten minute phone call. AI and text based help desks for young internet companies trying to fit a small business budget just don’t fare well so I hope they decide to invest in a call option or a chat dept. on par with their competitors. Truly hoping I can come back on here soon and leave a review like those who are giving five stars! Our order numbers were:18066 & 16532
Awful customer service, all AI generated. I've sent several emails requesting return tags 2 days after receiving the product (30 day money back guarantee) and can't get anyone to respond. Unbelievable!! I don't recommend doing business with this company.
I was skeptical at first when I started having issues and read the bad reviews. But I contacted Nuvio support on 11-13-24 via email anyway, to start the process. I bought my first chiller in June 2024. It worked great for 5 months! Then issues started. After exchanging emails for a few days to figure out ideas as to what was wrong, Charlie @ Nuvio said "Tim we will be sending you a new one." Two days after that last email a new chiller was waiting when I got home on 11-19-24. The newer chiller is working perfect and I'm back to my 4 minutes @ 4 A.M. in 40 degree water everyday!My old chiller worked fine then started showing 100+ degrees on the read out when my thermometer in my tub was reading in the 50's. Then is showed an "HH" on the screen. I took a couple photos and a short video as asked by Charlie and sent them to him. That's when he said Nuvio will replace it, and they did! Dont believe everything you read. Find out for yourself. These are pretty simple systems, so it's usually user error. Keep your tub clean and free of debris. Check your pump motor every couple weeks for debris on the filter to make sure its flowing. That's pretty much it. I turn my whole system off after each plunge and then turn it back on in the evening so it can chill over night and be ready @ 4 A.M.
