Review Time
We've been using the chiller for over a year with great results. It does take longer to chill than advertised, but I have a larger ColdPod, so I wasn't expecting it to chill quickly. Once it reaches temperature, it cycles on and off as it should. I recently had my first service issue and received prompt support. I communicated with a support representative within 24 hours, sent a video of the issue, and they identified it as a temp probe failure. The part was only $8, and they shipped it immediately with a tracking number. Although it came from overseas and took about 8-10 days, it arrived quickly once it cleared customs. I’m handy with tools and had my machine running again in under 30 minutes.
I had a very frustrating experience with customer service. I ordered the incorrect chiller and immediately requested a change. They initially said it was fine to wait for an email, but later informed me that I could either keep it with a 10% discount or pay for return shipping. I found this service unacceptable. Let's hope the product works as claimed.
I bought the chiller in June, and it functioned until September when it stopped cooling. I contacted customer support and exchanged multiple emails, with a 24-48 hour response time. After sending several videos, they finally said I needed a new pump, which would arrive in 5-7 days. Fourteen days later, I attached the new pump, but the same issue persisted. I contacted support again and provided more videos. They took another 48 hours to respond, saying I needed yet another new pump. I asked for an exchange for a new chiller, but they refused. I echo the sentiment of other negative reviews: do not buy from this company. Their equipment is subpar, and I regret my purchase.
We bought our chiller (with a free inflatable pod) in August based on claims that it works outdoors in extreme temperatures. Unfortunately, our ice bath won't drop below 50 degrees, even though it's in the same spot as our previous bath that reached 39 degrees. The only customer service available is a bot, with no phone support or returns. It's quite disappointing. I’m not sure how they received so many five-star reviews.
The unit arrived broken; the pump was non-functional right out of the box. The company refused to refund or replace it. The quality of the unit seems very cheap, and they do not stand behind their products. All they offered was free lifetime support, which is not helpful. I strongly advise others to avoid this company.
I honestly thought this was just another wellness fad. I figured I'd try it for a month and then it would sit in the garage. But after experiencing how much better my body and mind feel. I can't stop. The recovery is real, the sleep improvement is real and the mental clarity is real. Nuvio makes it easy enough that I never talk myself out of it, and that's why it works.
The Chiller Pro does not function as advertised, and my entire experience with Nuvio has been one of the worst customer service situations I have ever dealt with.I purchased a Chiller Pro for $1,100 on July 28, 2025. The very first unit arrived dead on arrival and would not even power on. After multiple attempts to reach support (responses often took 48–72 hours or more), they eventually acknowledged the issue and promised a replacement. The replacement unit they sent, however, was not the correct product. At this point, I had two units in my possession, one that was dead and another that was not what I ordered. Support eventually sent yet another unit. Unfortunately, this third unit has never worked properly either. The pump does not circulate water correctly, and the chiller stalls around 55°F instead of reaching the advertised temperatures. Despite providing videos and photos as requested, and following every single troubleshooting step, Nuvio has refused to issue a refund or send a properly functioning replacement.Instead, they offered either (1) yet another replacement (after three failed units already), or (2) a “goodwill” partial refund of only 20% ($220). This is unacceptable given the amount I paid, the repeated failures, and the time wasted.To date, I have spent over two months attempting to resolve this, and I still have nothing to show for it except multiple defective units and hundreds of unanswered or delayed emails. This company does not stand behind its products and does not honor reasonable customer requests for refunds when equipment fails to work.I strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Nuvio: stay away. They will waste your time, your money, and leave you with broken equipment and no resolution. In my opinion, this company is not trustworthy and operates in a way that feels like a scam.
