Customer service is actually greatI have read that customer service sucks, I have had the opposite experience, they have been so good, every issue I have had they have taken care of. The issues have largely been my fault, such as an incorrect order, but they have resolved it. They are very responsive. I give their customer service an A+, so far I give the chiller an A-minus. Doesn't cool as fast as they say, but it does get the water to a consistent 45 degrees (takes about 12 hours), but I'm also in a very hot climate.
The system worked great until it didn't. Not sure why it stopped working but once I made the complaint, they rectified it right away and sent me a new machine. I had a good experience so far and still recommend them to friends and family.
I do a three minute plunge before work and the difference is obvious, clearer head and less soreness. The chiller cools quickly, the water stays where I set it, and cleaning is straightforward with the water cleaner from the same brand. It has turned recovery from a chore into something I actually look forward to. It is one of the best purchases I have ever made. It has really helped with my focus, and mood. You just can't put a price to that.
Recovery chiller is a sub-par product, very loud and takes at least 12 hours to chill to target temp below 50 degrees. It is clunky and the flow tubes are poorly designed. They should include common faucet adapters with the tubes for indoor or outdoor use. The pod is horrible, you’re better off just using the recovery chiller with a standard barrel outdoors and bathtub / plunge pool indoors. Customer service is bad.
The chiller started leaking (pouring out water) 7 months after having it. It never recorded correct temperatures. Whe I reached out to them about the leak, magically at 6 months they stop guaranteeing their products. Even though their website says 1 year from delivery date. Customer service is awful. There are a ton of chillers out there. I wouldn’t recommend Nuvio at all.
