Had terrible experiences with them before so moved over to KPN, deleted my account and everything and now I hear my information was leaked after the hack, this is one of the or me examples of a cold and malicious company that care not for its customers.
Used to be t-mobile, did not inform customers that they were changing name to Odido so they had to read this in the news. Three days after this was announced in the news, it was told to their customers via e-mail.
Then they said in their marketing: "We are going to do everything different!" - Which was a lie as they just did everything completely the same as everyone else.
Then they got hacked because their security is not in order. (Support employee got social engineered - which is just bad. Employee had access to ALL the data, which is not needed! and Security did not detect weird access to the data even when it was being downloaded)
To top it all off, they kept data of ex-customers (like me) way too long. Eventhough I had already decided I do not want to give my money to this worthless company, I'm still hit by their neglicence and incompetence.
Edit: And then they just give the same copy-paste answer everywhere. Amazingly bad.
Without my knowledge, they subscribed for me for weather sms for 16 euros monthly and after I realized it after two bills, they said you can unsubscribe using the mobile app! So, if you are not reviewing their bills, you can expect high payments
Deciding to switch to Odido was the worst decision of my life. The day they technicians were supposed to install their device, they came without the proper equipment, they had to leave and set another date...3 long weeks later. They showed up again, different set of wingnuts, same problem. They came and left. Apologized with a chuckle. Meanwhile, Ziggo cuts off our connection, as agreed. Called Odido support, was passed on from one person to the next, had to tell my story over and over again, and finally got what was supposed to be the "last guy", but he had to call me on my number, so I hung up. He calls but doesn't hear me, I can hear him. He calls again, same story. It turns out my roommate had made some calls too--same story. They shake you off by switching you off! I called again, told my story for the hundreth time and finally got a guy who offered a code that would provide unlimited wifi via my phone hotspot. Great! Had lo-fi wifi but that was good enough, UNTIL of course, "unlimited" was NOT unlimited. It ran out. And I'm 100 euros poorer having to go beyond my Ziggo data bundle. I use the internet for work, so I had no choice. But I'm more than happy to pay a bit more to write this review. STAY WITH ZIGGO!
The website claims that PayPal is a payment option, and this is mentioned multiple times. I used my last data to download the app to order a new bundle via PayPal, but the option was completely absent. Why promote something that isn't available? I'm very disappointed with this service. Edit: I doubt any resolution will come from this, and I don't expect changes. I've already purchased from a different provider but will give this service another chance next month, though I suspect nothing will be different. It's unfortunate that the representative thinks generic responses will convince people. Their reply is irrelevant to my issue and feels like a tactic to undermine my genuine experience.
The website repeatedly states that PayPal is an accepted payment option. I used my last data to download the app to order a new bundle with PayPal, but the option was nowhere to be found. Why advertise something that's not available? I'm frustrated with this service. Edit: I don't believe any resolution will come from this, and I doubt things will change. I've already purchased a bundle from another provider but might give this service another chance next month, though I expect no improvements. I've been trying to cancel my order for three days, but every time I call, I'm put on hold, transferred to another department, and eventually disconnected. I've waited over 25 minutes multiple times, only to be hung up on. Is there a proper way to cancel an order? To make matters worse, the delivery service left my package with a neighbor while I was at work, despite my attempts to cancel. It feels like the company is forcing subscriptions on customers. I'm still trying to contact support to return the package and cancel the subscription. I've received an invoice for the subscription despite my cancellation request. Please resolve this issue as it's been four days now. Thank you.
