Review Time
I ordered some items off the website and I have had to return a pair. I stated my 14day returns rights and I have asked for the P&P to be refunded. I have just had an email to say the purchase of the items will be refunded and not the P&P I have had to pay. I ordered another item (different size) in the meantime to ensure I receive my product in time. Opened it today to find paperwork/box/emails etc all state the ordered size but I have been sent the incorrect size - the size I have already returned!! The paperwork has even been signed. What is going on? I refuse to pay out P&P as it cost me £7 last time and this is an error on Offcut's part. I also would like to know if I will receive my original item? I am happy to update my review if the attached matter is resolved.
Such a shame! I love(d) the concept of this and have had some great shoes out of it. I have spent a good couple of thousand pounds with this company. The customer 'service' however is APPALLING! I requested, through YODEL (which I also despise), to change my delivery option. They accepted. All was meant to be well. They since delivered my parcel to a neighbour who I dont know while I am away. This is causing stress! I know my neighbour is moving out and YODEL overrode my decision without my consent. Upon telling the team at OFFCUTS, they could not give a crud! Dismissive, negligent, useless, ignorant... They have active gone out there way to be awkward and unhelpful giving no hecks about the fact that the delivery has gone to someone else. They dont answer my questions, dont care that I am out of pocket and have asked me to return the parcel for a refund. Honestly they are showing such stupidity. I asked to speak to a manager. They wouldn't do that. I asked to speak to complaints department. They dismissed that also. I feel really sad that they have treated me this way and just don't care at all. They have offered no help and just told me to speak to my bank. I'd really ut me off and this is really some of the worst customer service I have encountered. I don't know what to do.I shouldn't be having to do anything really!Update: they told me they would send Yodel round to get the parcel and it would take 48 hours. What a lie! No one came and no one had got in touch and no one had refunded me or responded. What horrible customer 'service'. They just blag you by publicly pretending to care because even after the below comment none had bothered to check in with me. Nearly £300 disappeared!
i ordered a nice pair of court shoes and was sent a pair of trainers 2 sizes bigger because they got mine and another customers order mixed up. when i messaged them and asked for another pair to be sent they said they had to wait for my pair to be returned. i explained i had ordered them to wear to a funeral only days away, made no difference. i then asked for a refund and was told again i have to wait for the shoes to be returned. i explained i was worried about this as i could be waiting weeks for the customer to return them, if they return them at all, yet again made no difference. i would never order from them again and would not recommend them.
Have always loved offcuts and never had any issues. However recently they sent me the wrong item and told me they would refund me once I sent back (including postage fees). Sent the item back, so far no refund for either. They ended up sending the original product back to me (even though they said they wouldn’t) which is very annoying as I repurchased the same product as they said they wouldn’t be sending. So now I have 2 pairs of the same shoes. I need to now make a return again but I haven’t even received the refund for the first return postage. Their customer service don’t read the emails - I’ve had the sent the postage receipts twice - and obviously aren’t checking info before they send it to you. Just all very annoying and inconvenient.
