I am 70 years old and I am not a tech expert but I understand more than the basics. I went to an Office Depot store in Las Vegas on Rainbow blvd because I needed to download some important emails and forward them by fax. I asked the clerk for help because I couldn't get the code needed to print them.I was trying to do it from my laptop, first I asked him for help to get the password, in a rude and curt way he reluctantly gave it to me, immediately he went to stand in the middle of the store even though he had no more customers to serve because it was a very rainy day.A few minutes later I asked the same employee in the printing dept. for more help on how to use the printer and he still told me quickly and left. Total, I could neither send the documents to the email nor print them nor send them by fax. I decided to go to another place because it was around 6 pm and he was the only employee in that area.
I ordered an office desk from Office Depot. After missing multiple delivery dates, they delivered a printer cartridge labeled as a desk. They took my money! Their customer service department was not interested in satisfying my complaint. So, I disputed the charge with my credit card company and ordered the desk from Amazon. Do yourself a favor and don't do business with the thieves at Office Depot. Amazon delivers on time and handles disputes professionally. Also, Capital One did a great job handling this perpetration of fraud. Do better, Office Depot!

The 2 people in the local store were excellent, but the cashier never attached my credit card payment to the order. It was not in stock. I received an email that my order was canceled. Again, not good customer service, just canceling my purchase. The local store could not fix the payment problem, I had to call your online call center to charge my card. I received another email the next day to call them. They used my delivery address for the billing address. This was corrected. The next day we were double charged for this item. I called again, after giving all the information, they could not understand or did not listen to the issue. I repeated. They concluded the conversation with sending me to another department. I had to leave a message. They never called me back. I called again. This time the original department made up a “ticket” for another department to call me back. They did. I had to give all my information again. They said they would correct the double posting after I the purchase was delivered to me. At this point, I have no faith that it will be corrected. Horrible customer service.
Terrible terrible service. Yesterday went in to get something printed and although I was the only person definitely at the print station possibly in the entire store the service was horrible. They mosey around there like there is nothing important going on. Spent a half hour in the store for something that should have been no more than 10-15 minutes tops. Would have been okay with that but was promised it would be ready today by the same time which is now 4:00 and tried to call the store four different times was put on hold by a machine for 20 minutes and no one ever picked up. Needed my order today before 5:00. Will never go there again Staples as much better service
previously when ordering on line delivery would be within 24-48 hrs as still advertised the past year orders have taken up to 2 weeks. I waste a lot of time chasing these. when you get somone on chat they all say sorry it is warehouse issues and that the delivery will be with you in 72 hrs, several days later when still no delivery they say the same thing. They have said warehouse issues for the past year they should have sorted those issues by now & stop promising deliveries that they are not sending.
Office Depot is the worst Company I have ever bought from. Their Customer Service is horrible as well. I purchased items in December which has a 2 two delivery. The items never came after 5 days so I canceled the order and bought what I needed from a better Company. Low and behold I was then charged for the items that were never delivered. I called Customer Service and was told I would be related 3 to 5 business days later. That day came and went and I was never rebated. Fou days later my neighbor said my items were delivered at their house. But remember I canceled those items more than 10 days prior. I return the items to the store and are now being told they can't take them because they don't carry them in store. And was told to call customer service again. Ridiculous and Horrible Customer Service and Company
I placed an order for a filing cabinet for my wife for Christmas and never received it, been on with customer service 3 times trying to get this issue resolved and on top of that not getting an American to speak with so can’t understand what they are saying most of time and being put on hold constantly. Was told 3 times I would have someone getting in touch with me and that was a laugh.
I purchased an office chair and received a used "open box" item with parts missing. I called their parts depot and was told the missing parts were backordered 10 weeks. I therefore demanded an immediate return or replacement, insisting that OfficeDepot come and pick up the faulty item from my house at their expense. Why should I use my time and gas to drive to another city to find some brick and mortar when the purchase was made on officedepot.com? Um, excuse me? What exactly do you think e-commerce is? You expect the customer to incur expense and hassle when it is YOUR mistake? Seriously?When I make a purchase on officedepot.com, I expect it to be for a NEW item. If it is USED or OPEN BOX, you must state so clearly. There was absolutely nothing on your advertised listing page to indicate that I was purchasing anything other than a new item. I have had to make 3 phone calls in all over this return/exchange. The chair was returned almost a week ago, and I still have not received a refund. How long does it take? Where is my money?No wonder you're closing everywhere. My mistake for placing an order with an obsolete business. Just terrible all around.

Inital contact a FAILURE as agent never initiated case👉12/12/22 they FINALLY started a case to track it and I was told 2 DAYS for resolution -- this after wasting over 2 hours of MY TIME👉12:32 am 12/15/22 - STILL NO RESOLUTIONI was willing to drive to local Maple Grove, MN location to pick it up yet that "isn't allowed"
